It's outstanding, compact, easy to navigate and perfect for traveling.

I had a Samsung Galaxy and felt I needed something more to use for work. This is perfect. I can use my USB port to take work along. The other great thing is Windows 8. I am learning how to use it so that when I upgrade my computer, I will be ready! I have yet to learn everything but I am coming along.

Purchased on Black Friday for a great price. It will be used for school, work and fun. Easy to use and has Microsoft office. Great buy!

I am very pleased with the surface RT. It can be used as a tablet and with the magnetic keyboard it converts quickly to a laptop. Has all the features I was needing. Short on number of apps but catching up quickly.

I took it on my vacation right after I bought it. It is EASY to use, very light and portable. I continued to do my NGO committee work, keep in touch with friends, and find addresses, hotel rooms, tickets to events, the events themselves, and everything I needed. Thank you.

Nice screen size. Ease of start up was good. Having MS Word enables more productivity instead of just a 'fun' item. Although it is FUN

Outstanding educational tool with full graphic capability along with the full keyboard to input spread sheets and type academic papers. WIFI connects it with printers and the web so it is fully portable without all the "luggage" required of the older full sized laptop.

Purchased this for my daughters. Gives them ability to do homework on and small and light enough to cary every place they want. Has great software already built in with also ability to save on a separate memory. Only thing it lacks is it doesn't have the app database like other tablets out there yet. Also the cost for keyboard.

I purchased this tablet to try out the Microsoft 8.1 ecosystem since I'm using both Androids and IOS products currently. It is different but I like it a lot, just needed a week to learn new gestures to fully enjoy the tablet. The tiles are big with live updates for quicker reference. The USB port and memory expansion ports are so convenient for transferring files. I use a couple of spare thumb drives I have to copy movies or music from my main computer and watch/listen directly and quickly. It has brought life back to my vast library of media contents that had been neglected because of memory limitations on my IOS and Android devices and the hassle of updating libraries. I have had it for 2 months and using it daily. Using internet explorer is a blessing in lieu of the fewer must-have apps in Microsoft store. I can do a lot more from the websites than any existing apps. It is truly a laptop replacement.

I bought the Surface RT for myself on Black Friday. I didn't need another Computer but, for the price, I couldn't pass it up since I WAS in the market for a tablet. Got it home, set-up went fine, and I was wow'd by all the features, lack of limitations, etc. Took some getting use to that it was an actual PC and not just a tablet - lots of info crammed into it. Went back to BB and bought the back-lit Microsoft keyboard (sweet!). Switching back and forth from touch-screen to keyboard is a real plus. I planned on using it for work since it was a lot lighter/smaller than my laptop and it takes great pictures (which I need for work) and I wouldn't have to waste time uploading. Never got the chance. After using it maybe 5 times, it wouldn't turn on anymore. It had never left my living room, was never mishandled, stayed charged, and it just - QUIT. To make matters worse, I had just spent 3.5 hours the night before typing up a work-related document that I did not email to myself or save to an sd card. Talk about PO'd! Took it back to BB and said that I would upgrade to a just-released PRO if they could verify that it didn't have the same issue. Negative. Refund please. I took the keyboard back later that day and, low & behold, there was a PRO that someone had returned for not charging. After talking to some people, it seems that these are the top 2 reasons the Surface gets returned. They look good, have all the bells & whistles, but Microsoft has failed to bring a time-tested, reliable tablet PC to the market IN MY OPINION.

I bought the Surface for my nephew to use for school. What I like about it is that he can enjoy it as a tablet for games, it's a good size, and when he is ready for school work, it works as a laptop with a USB drive and came with Microsoft office already on it.

The surface has been exactly what I needed in a tablet. I am not big into gaming although I have a few choice games that I like to play. I needed a tablet that I could type notes while on the go. Although the iPad has more apps, Microsoft Office feature won me.

Love it! I own a Surface for school and work in the medical field and I just bought this one for my father to use for photograph uploads and editing from his fancy Canon camera. He cannot double click a mouse but he can use the Surface without assistance! Very user friendly and integrated into printing and social media!

I have really enjoyed learning Windows 8. The camera takes a high quality picture. The pictures and music is great! I have run into problems as some apps are not available at the store and are necessary to complete tasks on line. It's very convenient to take with me and I alway have service it's a better fit for me than my iPad it has adobe reader! I would recommend it.

Still trying to get used ro it, smaller than a laptop which is good and bad. Easy to travel with. No app for facebook and cannot getv aol mail to load. Overall I like it.

Pricing got to be crazy around the holiday, could have got 64gb for the same price. Like the easy to use out of the box and setup was a snap, keyboard option is great

Th Surface is a good value. It works well as an alternative to a full-size laptop. Battery life is decent. Windows 8 is great and the Surface has mobile versions of office so I can do work stuff if needed. I use it mostly for surfing so its perfect.

This computer has made my first year if college so much easier. We went to best buy looking for an iPad and left there with the Microsoft Surface RT. I love that I can go from computer to tablet with a swish of my finger. The size is perfect, unlike other laptops-I can actually put it in my purse and not have to worry about another bag. I live that my parents bought the Microsoft Surface RT for a graduation present!!! Best gift ever!

I'm impressed with the battery life. It makes it pretty hard to put this thing down. Super fast, and the screen size is perfect. Very satisfied with this purchase!
