I bought this tablet for my grandmother as a gift because she wanted something portable but that was easy to use. I am more of an apple person yet I know apple programs aren't the easiest for her to use because its something she just isn't used to. Yet the surface pro was a perfect fit for her. Very user friendly, easy to set up, can also use it as a laptop, personalize it. Just an amazing product for such a low price compared to the other tablets that are out there. Would def recommend this item to anyone who loves windows and needs technology at their fingerprints with a larger screen at all times.

I like it just hard to find case and it's to wide good and easy to use like colors fun but to wide needs a better camera easy to find your pictures emails fb twitter etc... like how fast it is and easy to print from and all your games are in one spot light weight like colors of keyboards also like the 32 gb space and memory card slots and lots of space for pictures and just like everything besides to wide hard to find a case

I Love this product because it is so easy to carry back and forth to school or anywhere else. I like the option of having touch screen and the key board. Now I have to figure out what to do with my laptop because the surface does evwrything it does minus the disc drive.

I am completely satisfied with this product. My primary use of the tablet is for my work and entertainment. Microsoft Office and Deep Skydrive integration are the important factors for me to buy this tablet. I would say that two areas that need more improvement are, a) Quality Apps in the Store, b) More Sites should be compatible with IE11 touch interface.

I bought this as a gift for my parents, who are not particularly gifted when it comes to technology. Set up was simple and they seem to be having no problem figuring out how to use it. It is much faster than their aging laptops, and as they only really browse the web and check emails this device is perfect for them. The only issue I have had was with connecting the Surface to a wireless Brother laser printer. The driver that automatically installed was not the correct one. After doing some research online I was able to eventually point it to the correct driver and it now works as expected.

I bought this to replace an iPad I have to return to my job when I retire. I compared both products, and Surface won hands down over iPad. It's like a mini desktop or laptop. I don't play games but like to use it for internet, mail, and documents. I watch the occasional soap opera or movie and the picture is excellent. The Black Friday price of $199 tipped the scales in value. I just need to learn from somewhere how to access Windows 8 better. I learn a little every night playing with it!

This version of the Surface came ready to go, and for the price was definitely the choice for our needs. The convenience of a USB port and the micro SD expansion slot plus built-in stand put it way above other higher price choices we looked at. Knowing we can add a keyboard later for a relatively low cost means it's practically as (or more) capable as our old laptop already and will be less cumbersome to take with us. The tutorials Microsoft makes available in the help section will help anyone get going with Surface.

It will never replace my laptop. While typing emails, the keyboard disappears frequently and it freezes. It is confusing how to make it reappear. I love the touch screen otherwise. Just the lag. It was simple to figure out navigating the tablet. I'm also not happy with the mail layout. There is no option to place an email in the spam folder.

Tablet is good enough, for this price. It looks nice, and have office that is so useful if you need to do your work at home. But it has some problems: very difficult to deal this drop-down menues on websites. Tablet just don't make it appear, or do not enable me to make a selection. I use my laptop and everything works just fine on it, but with tablet it is not possible. In general I am satisfied, but some things needs to be improved by manufacturer. Touch screen it is not responsive properly, I would say.

Bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter... she loves it! Very portable, nice screen, lots of good apps, includes MS Office.

I love this tablet. It's super easy to use and extremely flexible as a tablet and as a laptop. I go between the touchscreen and the typecover very easily. I love that the screen is easy to see. I'm looking forward to now reading all my books and magazines on my Surface. I was disappointed to learn I could not download Windows Media Player, but I'm making do with the Xbox player app. I haven't figured out how to make a playlist in the music library even though there's a button for that. Overall, great buy.

I almost didn't buy this, but decided I wanted to stick with windows. Once you get used to Windows 8, it is a very easy computer to use. It is lightweight, doesn't take up a lot of space, has a stand to prop up, bright and clear screen, is plenty fast enough, and I like the fact that it has Microsoft office and it was included at no cost!!

This is a great tool to make you live easy. Fast and simplesto navegante on web ,strong battery you can use for more than four hours and still have power on battery.Great camera and perfect screen size.

I mainly bought this machine to have a Windows 8-based tablet, and have fallen in love with it. The quad-core processor runs very smoothly with Windows RT, and has never frozen or locked up while I use it. The only problem, which is really not a problem, is the fact that there are not a lot of apps available for Windows RT/8 yet. If you are in the market for this machine, though, opt in for the 64GB model. Windows RT, along with all the other pre-installed software, takes up almost half of the drive space from the beginning, and after installing just a few apps, I was already over the half-way mark. Overall, though, this is a very well-built, reliable tablet, and once you get the hang of it, it runs and operates well.

Perfect tablet/computer for everyone, Its easy to use and small compact size is great for travel and its great with the new backlit keyboard as it also serves as a cover for this tablet/computer.
