Love it, so far! I love that Microsoft Office is included. Battery seems alright so far.

Weight is light for carrying around, fit in the bag just like a small binder, excel, word, ppt are perfect for school. I got RT 32G for 199 which is really really really good deal.

Purchased this for my son for college instead of a laptop. Best decision ever. Now I want one to replace my laptop.

Great for college, looking up info, and writing papers, love adding apps. Easy to carry around very light weight. Battery cord could be longer. Overall I really enjoy it for school.

I use this tablet primarily for school and it has been nothing short of spectacular. With the hard keyboard it functions just like a laptop so writing papers and taking notes are very easy. The keyboard snaps off making it a standard tablet. The screen resolution is great and the touch screen is very responsive. Great product

I like the touch screen aspect of the tablet with the option of using a keyboard. While I'm not a tech guru, I'm still fairly good with the basics of technology BUT my 7 year old had to show me how to use some of the features. Once I figured out the small things, it works great for me!

I was hesitant to purchase a surface with all of the negative publicly that has come out, but boy I m glad I did. Not sure how Microsoft could have fumbled the marketing for this excellent tablet. It runs windows RT 8.1 but does almost everything surface pro does. I actually like this better than my iPad. It was so easy to set up and runs quite fast. Don't believe the MS haters - this is a great device!

Easy to setup and my daughter loves it! I especially like that you can use Word and Excel. I bought the Surface in leu of of getting her another laptop. Also, have the keyboard and she has not had any problems with anything.

I chose this over the Surface Pro because I wanted a tablet, not an ultrabook. And I got that. I compared it to an IPad and it is definitely on par with it. When it comes to color/video quality, it is more superior compare to the Ipad. Though it lags a little sometimes.

very easy to use. the screen is very clear to see and it has alot of options to use. having windows 8 is nice. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a tablet

This is perfect for my fiance, who is finishing up her degree online. She liked my iPad, but I would have had to purchase an office suite, etc. to make it work, and the product is more expensive to begin with. Having IE on the tablet made a difference as well, as the online classes seem to work better in it (we tested with both IE and Safari and the rending in Safari doesn't look proper). I was worried that not being able to install full Windows applications as on the Pro version of the device would be a hindrance, but hasn't caused any issues (yet).

I was not sure about the Surface. I have been an Apple follower for years but I decided recently to branch out and I am glad I did. The Surface has surpassed any expectation. I find my self taking it everywhere. I purchased primarily for business so I dont care about the small number of apps. I just recently paired up the Type keyboard and the experience has gotten even better. I definitely recommend.

Don't like Windows 8. Ability to run Windows 7 would be nice. With that said, I do like the size and features of this tablet. The available keyboard is nice. I would recommend this to anyone willing to learn to use Windows 8.

I love my Surface RT. I take it everywhere , I can surf the net, check what my friends and family are up to. I do my homework on MS office Excel and save to the Sky Drive. I use Skype to talk to family. It has it all I need.

I have barely used my laptop since purchasing. Sure it took me a little while to get used to. But now it is so second nature. I do everything on it that I used to do on my laptop. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a laptop substitute for meetings or travel.

Great tablet that I can easily transport and carry around college. The ease of use is great. My only problem is the limited apps in the windows store. Otherwise its a great tablet good storage and capability of adding more is easy. With my student discount the cost was affordable for a college student on a budget.

I love that it is light and like a mini computer! It has everything that I need except it will not connect to a network printer at work, and that is what I need it for

Nice laptop. Microsoft office already included. Only downside is I have to sign up to Xbox in order to download the apps. (don't understand that). Have to pay for some. Tech at the store said I don't have to upload internet security. It was already included, which was good.
