I was fortunate enough to grab this tablet online on Black Friday at a steal of a price. The intended use is for my daughter and her schoolwork / projects. The tablet is small enough that she will be able to carry back-and-forth from home to school, but extremely functional running Windows 8 with Microsoft Office. It's like she has a laptop computer, but it's tablet-sized!

This product is lightweight and portable. It's easy to see. The features are user-friendly. It has adaptable programs so that I can make it the way I want it. I can set it up to work for my personal needs.

love the size. great for games. response is good and is very liteweight.

My non-Apple son wanted the Surface over the iPad. He is enjoying it very much. It does everything the iPad does, however buyers beware. The apps are very limited, but are promised to be expanded soon.

Perfect for what I needed to replace my old laptop. Lightweight and easy to use. Also, has word processing which I needed for college.

Actually, I thought the device will be for light use so I have the Surface and my laptop, but now I don't use my laptop at all, just to extract some information. Everything in Surface is good unless the poor Microsoft store that I can't find everything in their.

Easy to use, familiar OS. Better for business use than an iPad...glad I made the change.

This was purchased as a gift for my 14 year old granddaughter and she has been using it every day at school for projects and at home for homework. She has no problem navigating and loves the ease of use. Suggest that everybody at least try this product out because you will definitely want one.

Overall we are enjoying the tablet. The children find it easy to use for homework and I enjoy playing my games and reading books.

The Windows 8 Surface RT has been a great addition to my family. I use it primarily for school. But I also allow my 3 yr. old son to play the apps we downloaded using the Xbox store app. It's great to watch movies, type and edit documents, listen to music, take notes, make presentations and anything else you can think of. Think of something I'm 100% sure this tablet can do it. I don't have anything bad to say about the Surface RT.... it's just awesome!

recv'd as a Christmas present, great size and good value, bought a cover for it but it had to be a certain one to fit the Surface only, ended up buying a small wireless keyboard but only because they were sold out of the cover/keyboard just for the Surface.

Very practical for my needs. Working on emails with MS word, works very well. Great bundle for the price.

Got his as a Black Friday deal. Shocked my son when he opened it. Loves the thing! Easy to use/set up. He plans on bringing it to school daily, since it has Office built in.

I am looking for good tablet for mainly internet browsing & checking emails. This also have full office which is plus. Also common games & apps can be downloaded from app store. Battery life is good. Camera is only good for skype & not for taking pictures.

In the under 400 dollar market, this is hard to beat. I can pop in a USB keyboard and mouse, connect the HDMI out to my TV and have a full blown media center.

I loved this but ended up having to take it back. I couldn't get any apps for it which I need for the books I use in my class. If I am not in wifi area I would need to use the app to get to my book blast. Unfortunately the sales people didn't tell me that

We purchased the surface for my husband and he loves it, its easy light weight and fun to use. He's connected it to his other devices, and is able to get e-mail from both his business and personal sites. He likes the camera, it could have a little more resolution but is still good. We enjoy the surface and may think about investing in another one in the future.

I patiently waited for a tablet that would include Microsoft Office fulfilling all my needs, leaving little use for the laptop. It's the right size, easy to take anywhere, and not only are all your needs fulfilled, but also your wants....like music, movies, books, photo's and endless apps.

Let me start off by saying this is a great tablet that has been bundled with Microsoft Office. One thing that I'm not sold on with this product is that it has Microsoft RT installed and the features may be somewhat limited as opposed to the Pro line of tablets by microsoft. The other tragedy here is that the accessories are expensive. The Type cover 2 I bought for example ran $129. I'm assuming this is Microsoft's way of building revenue from offering these models of tablets at a low price because consumers are going to want a keyboard for the full user experience. I would have preferred for the tablet to have full HD specs, but at its price, this is likely too much to ask for.

My grand daughters ask for a tablet for Christmas.We found this and purchased two. Christmas morning was a big hit! They both love their tablets. So the price was perfect,the performance is great,they can do their home wok,check grades and more, the size is great.the camera is fun and the apps are awesome as are the games....What more can they ask for!... <3
