The surface RT tablet is used for work and study when I am not at home. It has window system that I familiar with. It can do almost all the work like a laptop. Although it is not as good as iPad in retina display and gaming, its easy access to transfer files via usb port and office suite to deal with word, excel and powerpoint exceeds the performance of iPad

I love this tablet. I wanted something small I could easily bring to school with me and this is perfect. Microsoft word and excel work wonderfully.

I BOUGHT IT FOR MY SON 15 YEARS OLD, AND HE LIKED IT A LOT. HE CAN DO ALL THE HOMEWORKS BECAUSE IT CAME WITH MS OFFICE. FAST, NICE, POWERFUL. EASY TO START UP. PERFECT TO WORK IN CLOUD BASE ENVIOREMENT. I BOUGTH ALSO A WONDERFUL DETACHABLE MAGNETIC KEYBOARD. PERFECT MATCH ! NOW MY SON HAS THE BEAUTY OF A TABLET AND ALSO A NOTEBOOK BECAUSE THE KEYBOARD.

Great miniature Windows 8 system, but I am not a fan of Win8. Apps and ease of use for watching videos is not there. The availability of apps is limited. Wish I had purchased a Galaxy Tablet. With that said, having a full version of Office is a plus.

I purchased this so I could write fiction, and it's size and screen quality is impeccable.

Can't anything better deal than this. Use this regularly. No issues.

This tablet is great for doing office words, excell, power point ect. We use excell to do our bills work sheet, but I also have my games and Facebook I can use it for during down time. You can also customize the home page and and other different things in depth. I also like that it's light weight. It's also a good price for a tablet that can do so much.

i do like the convenience of the tablet, its cute, the color is amazing, i like the memory, the ability to have several windows open, it is office and word and power point ready... i can run thru facebook, my emails,and watch tv programs on it... i use the keyboard on the screen...the additional keyboard to purchase is expensive:( i got a deal on the office tablet for black friday...unexpected for myself which i normally dont do and i do not regret it....i have had fun with it and look forward to learning more on it everyday.... it has lots of options to personalize it like you want it. it does alot a laptop would but with out the mess of carring the bulk around.... i trust the device too...and believe me that says alot....durable i love the stand to set it up so i can watch tv and scroll at the table, sd slot is great and charging is fast

This is a great tablet the only real big complain is that there are not enough apps in the microsoft store. As i Have with my ipad and android tablet. also you can not add memory like an sd card slot. However it is noce to have office in a tablet

My first windows based tablet and so far enjoying it. New to windows 8, but learning quickly and loving it. Almost a replacement for my desktop. I like that it has a regular USB port and expandable micro sd card. No regret buying this tablet.....

I purchased this for my parents to use for video chats and it is working superb. Display, audio, camera everything is excellent.

Gave this as a gift...so hard to review. She says she loves it! The only problem Ive heard of is problems with the app store. Not the fault of the tablet, but annoying problem nonetheless.

Operates like a laptop/tablet. Not prone to viruses or spam like regular PCs. Turns on faster than a PC. Ideal for work and school due to its size and compatibility.

LOVE, love my Pro! Got a Surface and hated it so I upgraded to a Pro and I could not be happier. I have a newer laptop with Windows 8 so everything is easy to use on each computer. The keyboard attached easily, the built in stand is super convenient. Really happy with my purchase

It's a decent tablet for the price I got lucky and got the free keyboard cover and they price adjusted to the new price. The App Store is lacking but there is one Stand out app,fresh paint.

If you need a cheap tablet that can run office this is perfect. If you want to do anything else, buy a laptop. It is a little hard to navigate at first, but once you play around it is pretty easy. The unit is made to be used with the kickstand. Meaning good luck using it like a normal tablet. Without the optional keyboard it is difficult to use. The on screen keyboard takes up half the screen and you can't see the search results as you type because of it. The metro UI is easy but can be a pain for the first timer. Having the ability to expand memory is a plus. Just remember it's not an IPad. It's a surface and you are getting it for what it can do, not what you want it to do.

Great out of box experience. Was purchased for my wife because she wanted MS Office software and this has it preloaded. Very easy to use. I purchased the attachable keyboard and it works great.

Bought this for my college-aged daughter for use in her classes. What a wonderful solution! Very easy to use. Integrates with everything she already has. Buying one for younger HS child next.

I like it because I can use it during class rather than my laptop which is harder to carry everywhere, and I can connect it to my laptop so that it seems like I'm using my big laptop but instead I'm using a nice potable size tablet. Love it!

Office installed, Windows 8.1 installed and the RT means no viruses. Great for Students. Tablet has USB to work with most Peripherals and works with my home network/printer. Xbox smart glass is so cool. The free music pass is a great value.
