I was pleasantly surprised by this tablet. The Surface RT includes Microsoft Office in its basic package. It's quick, intuitive and familiar to use for anyone who uses Microsoft Windows. With one of the optional keyboards this tablet comes much closer to a laptop replacement than most of the Android tablets.

This is an interesting and useful device for a student primarily because of the ability to use a full operating Microsoft word along with the versatility and portability of a tablet is great for school and play!

U can use t hi is tablet as a computer and get real work done or just play and use it as a tablet. It's perfect for me . I don't even use my new air mac ...This is less than half this han he price and it's a lot more usable. I never though I would go back to microsoft...but here I'm again. Excellent product

Overall the Microsft Surface RT is an excellent tablet. For the price, this tablet is hard to be beat.

This is a very good tablet with good desktop features. I recommend getting a mouse for better navagation or the microsoft keyboard. The surface also has a 8 hour battery life. The sound quality could be louder.

When I started to use the tablet, it was difficulty since I'm not too fond of windows 8. I'm more of an apple man. But the split screen feature was awesome. Also, the weight compared to an iPad is so much more.

Easy to setup and use for personal and business purpose. Very similar interface for Win 8. Plenty of storage space and expandable. USB port. The only complaint i have is I have to purchase a separate keyboard.

Great tablet by far the best bang for the buck. Windows 8 takes a little getting used to though. USB and SD card slots are extremely useful. Love this tablet!

I am a college student and I love this item. It's size is small and easy to carry around campus. The PowerPoint and Microsoft features are a must have. I like the clear picture it provides. I recommend to all

I really love this tablet. It's great to use for school because being a college student it makes it easy for me to take notes and do homework. I also love being able to change between windows. Love love love

When I opened up the box and powered up the unit, it would not function at all, until I plugged in the keyboard, which brought it to life, with keyboard use only, no touchscreen capability. I returned it to the Geek Squad at my local Best Buy store, who did nothing to help me, other than referring me to a local Microsoft Store, which could not diagnose the issue and ended up replacing it, free of charge, which Best Buy would not do. I have since returned all the accessories to Best Buy and I've requested a full refund for my Geek Squad Protection. I purchased a warranty, and accessories thru the local Microsoft Store for lower cost, better service, nicer people, and also added perks that Best Buy could not offer.

I bought this for my granddaughter to use for college so that she doesn't have to take her laptop to classes. This way she can use a flash drive to store projects and work on them wherever she is and then download everything back on the laptop. She was able to quickly navigate her way around Windows.

I really wanted to like the Surface. The problem is that it is a tablet that feels like it wants to be a laptop replacement, the problem is that it is neither a good laptop and it is not a good tablet. Navigation in Windows is extremely frustrating without a USB mouse attached. There's also the problem of too few useful apps available for the Surface compared to the iPad or Android tablets.

Great tablet for the money. I bought this for my 14 year old daughter and she loves it. Very functional and the price is reasonable.

Just got it for Xmas so I have only had it a few weeks. I love the size. It has everything I was looking for. I use it for all my surfing needs. I carry it with me everywhere. It is Better than my laptop in quality, color, and speed.

The Surface RT is just what I was looking. It's the perfect size for using at home or on the go. Never have to deal with the long restart process of a PC or laptop. I just turn it on & it's ready to go.

Overall I like the surface. I am trying to give it a chance while I get used to Windows 8.
