Best tablet/laptop i have ever owned. love everything about it

I only use laptops and have three of them--all working! I am a computer consultant teaching the Microsoft Office Suites. I bought the Surfact RT because 2013 was installed. I find it difficult to attach the power chord to the Surface. If I do not check, I can be charging for several hours and then realize that it is not connected properly. Also, if I am working while charging, the chord can just pop off. This needs to be corrected.

Good tablet for students and people who don't need the fastest speeds. It does hesitate a bit at times but still does a lot for the price.

Gift for my 9 year old daughter who does most of her homework on the computer. This tablet allows her to use Microsoft Office for those functions & also download games & apps to allow her to have a lot of fun on it.

I've spent well over a year trying to decide whether to buy a second home computer, laptop or tablet. When I saw Windows Surface advertised, I was excited. After going to Best Buy and looking at Windows Surface RT, I knew that this product was a good solution to my dilemma. Overall, I've been pleased with the product. As there were no operating instructions, I still do not how to proficiently navigate the Surface, which is frustrating as I am only moderately computer literate. Generally speaking, I am pleased with the Surface.

that pretty much covers it. nice texture, attachable keyboard is a must. The girlfriend loves watching her netflix shows on it in bed and while she does her crafts.

My wife loves the new Surface - was a nice Christmas gift. The Surface is easy to use and light weight. The only draw back is the amount of updates it always has.

Great machine that is more compatible then an Apple product with everything that most people are used to. Exactly like a small laptop, with the perks of a tablet.

It is great for my son. He is not only using for doing his school work, but also having fun on it!

This product is great for High School and College students, The only weakness is the Microsoft store only has unlimited apps unlike Apple

I bought this on Black Thursday. It was considerably cheaper that way. The performance is decent. It is really nice as a portable tablet.

It is quite easy to use. Unlike android, doesn't need to fiddle around, while giving you enough freedom unlike apple. so far no complain.

For my purpose, the Surface has been great. I needed something that did email, basic MS office and a few apps to keep me entertained while traveling. This tablet can't do that millions of apps a Ipad can but it does MS word beautifully. It is like having a laptop but with tablet portability and ease. My one other complaint is the sound. It is not as good as other tablets for watching movies. It has been very good for me.

Finally a device that is comfortably portable with like an IPad but has PC performance of Office!!

Good color, good screen size, had 48 updates needed to install when I opened it and quite a few apps I've looked for are not avaliable.

I think is a great tablet for everyday use & specially for school. The cool thing about it.. is that it has for your USB which it makes it better then the iPad

I bought this just to play with when it was on sale Thanksgiving week. I have found it so useful that I take it to work everyday! I can easily take notes and can remote into my desktop while away from my office.

I received ny surface as a Christmas gift. It was great. I have the convenience of a convenient size with ability to use office tools.
