Taking mom into the electronic age!

They both seem to enjoy exploring the many functions and capabilities of the MS tablet. I chose the Surface over other tablets because of the familiarity they would have with Windows operating system. They have literally spent hours "playing" with the tablet, which is why my "what's so great" and "what's not so great" titles are the same. They seem to enjoy it, almost to the point they can't put it down! Welcome to the age of electronics, mom!

Decent tablet

I got it before the price went down and I probably wouldn't pay $500 for it again, but I do like it. There are very few products made for it and it seemed as if Best Buy didn't know how to use it, but after using it for quite awhile it is getting better.

The only downfall would be app availability compared to the android and apple. That being said it integrates nicely with other work software. I use it for presentations and it is great. I like the kickstand and use it frequently. Honestly its nice that it doubles as a pad and computer! Great product, alot for your money!

I love this thing!

I could never use and iPad b/c I need Microsoft Office to work. This little thing has it all, and the full size USB drive let's me print, too.
