Awesome tablet for anyone!

It was a great find - I bought it on Black Friday at a store and got it at an AMAZING price! It even has Office loaded into it so he is using it constantly for school things as well as personal stuff. I need to find out how to set up an account on the Microsoft store so he can purchase apps and not have to use my cc all the time!

This is my 4th tablet and operating system.

I like it much better now than when I first set it up. There are definitely some challenges with respect to navigating the apps. I may be missing something fundamental here but, as this is my 4th different operating system, one would think that I should get the hang of it quickly.

Amazing display and great software

It comes pre-installed with all the software you need and has an efficient battery life. I haven't stopped using mine since I bought it.

Great purchase for the money

I also would like to run either firefox or chrome browsers on this Surface but I hear it may be offered soon. All in all I am very happy with my new toy. I am able to access what I really need for work which is the Google drive.

Compact and light, counterintuitive to use

It keeps forcing me to try to use SkyDrive but my workplace requires me to use another cloud computing system. Please make it easier to use other programs. I do like the size and feel.

Good value for price

It is something in between and that is what is problematic about it. It has the regular versions of Microsoft Office tools which is good but all the other tools do not provide the same ease of use as they would on a laptop. Take Internet explorer for example the interface is so difficult to navigate around especially for someone who is used to that laptop or desktop use. I find it easier to navigate in a browser on my android phone than this tablet. In a nutshell it requires some time to get used to this interface and how the same tools work differently in here as compared to a laptop or desktop. The price was a great catch. I got it for 199 during the thanksgiving week.
