I like this better than the IPad because of the windows. It is great to be able to keep streaming video playing while switching to other screens. Not as heavy as i thought at first.

The surface is a great ttablet/computer all in one.

As a word processor, this is an awesome computer. Limited apps and no itunes. But a great word processor!!!

I was looking for a tablet/laptop for school....i found this one....i love everything about it.....until this point i have nothing negative to say!!

I purchased this Surface because I am hoping to start my own business. I haven't started yet, so I don't know if it will be everything I have hoped for... but so far, the setup has been easy and I have had no problems connecting to my home network or the Bluetooth printer I also purchased. I am very excited about the future and so glad to have a portable device.

It is easy to carry and it does what I need it to.

My girls love their surface. We keep it set up all the time on a desk, but it has been wonderful for them.

These Surface tablets are great - soon laptops will be obsolete! They are fast and easy to setup and use.

We love our new Surface. It makes all our computer needs possible without having to use the big bulky laptop or desktop. I don't love how much the keyboard and other accessories are but we got a great price on this from Best Buy and can't wait to use it more often once our protective case arrives.

Good gift for my daughter. Her 16th birthday and she really likes it. She uses it everyday, takes pictures, skypes and does her homework on it.

This is a great tablet and allows the user to carry it easily. User friendly and resolution is optimal.

Do not buy this product if you're looking for a touchscreen experience like a smartphone or a tablet. Due to limited apps in the Windows store for Windows 8, you'll find yourself having to use a lot of desktop programs and using the RT more like a regular computer instead of a tablet. Navigation using your fingers on a small screen for desktop programs does not work well at all. If you want precise navigation of the desktop programs, you'll have to use the trackpad at which point you might as well have a netbook or small laptop. This product is good for someone that wants a very portable computer with Windows 8 and have access to MS Office programs. If you want a tablet, look at Apple, Samsung, or Kindle.

Wish I would have bought one sooner takes great pictures, easy to do e-mails. Great to have on the road.

I held off buying this tablet, waiting for the second generation to come out. When it came on sale I couldn't resist buying it to give it a try. I have Android and Apple Mini tablets and prefer the Surface over all of them. I purchased the Type 2 cover to go with it and find it a good replacement for my Laptop. The limited third party software options for the RT platform is a minor drawback. I will upgrade to a PRO once the price comes down.

Great tablet for a new to tablet user. Graphics are clear and sharp, screen size is more than adequate.
