Bought it for a present and set it up... It works perfectly...i would recommend!

Works great for business and personal use. I love the microsd slot and the usb.

I purchased it to use for both home and work related tasks, but since it can't connect to my office network (not able to use Aventail) and doesn't have Outlook (store staff told me it was free download....it isn't even available), it is pretty much a coffee table game pad.

My daughter loves this and loves the camera.she also can surf the web so easy.

Got this tablet on black Friday for $200. A great deal indeed for any tablet this size. The product is built well and of high quality. Windows 8 is "odd" to use. My biggest complaint is that Internet Explorer lags far too often. Othewise, I would buy it again for $200.

An overall good device. I recommend it if you have a windows 8 PC and want to have similar operating systems for your PC and Tablet. Windows 8 RT will access the internet better than Android operating systems that do not have all of the plugins required for some games and other routines used on the internet.

Got this on black Friday, awesome value.. started out with a week with RT on it, then updated to 8.1 and it really hit turbo speed. Multi Tasking greatly improve, interface improved greatly, and customization changes or nice too. Touch cover is really hard to get use to, kinda like learning how to play a fret-less guitar, you keeping hitting all around the note over and over again.

I use this product for my school papers for the Microsoft compatibility I needed. It is really handy and a good tablet to have. I've always been impartial to apple products but I needed a tablet I could use for Microsoft word, spreadsheets, etc. this is a good product

my surface does everything i want and also comes with free micro soft office.

I bought this on Black Friday for $199.99. It was certainly an attractive price, but the Type Cover 2 (far superior to the Touch Cover 2) added $129.99 and the ZAGG Shield was another $39.99. Both accessories were of outstanding quality and are understandably priced, but I'm somewhat torn on whether I should have gone with the Surface Pro due to the lack of standard stylus support. Upgrading the OS to Windows RT 8.1, which is highly recommended, was very difficult to do since it was somehow missing from Microsoft's website temporarily. Of course, the 2nd generations of this and the Pro are out now, so I can see how this made a good building block. However, it's probably too pricey outside of that Black Friday cost for it's feature set.

I have used kindlefire and ipads extensively but the windows tablet w/keyboard feels more like a computer. the ability to save office documents on your tablet and then open them at home or work is quite useful. does all the playtime things as well, Netflix,games, ect

I have used the iPad for several years but now I am a convert to Surface. Excellent product.

I bought the Surface RT because it was to be a purely recreational machine Howver I was surprised when I could not load the free security program that came with it. Maybe after some more research and more talk with the geek squad we will be able to solve the issue.

Bought for high school student. She loves it, works great, reasonable cost.

This works so well that my grandson now has it. The new windows format is refreshing. No problems with watching movies and tv programs which is what I do. Overall a great product.

I wanted this tablet when it was released, but was a little low on cash. As soon as it dropped to $350 I picked it up immediately and its the best tablet I've ever had. Plain and simple, its beautiful and fun to use. I couldn't recommend it enough!
