I had a very difficult time trying to set this tablet up and to navigate. I was very excited to try this new product but I must say the IPAD is hands down much more user friendly. Would recommend with some reservation.

Surface rt is a great note taking device for college students. It is also great for very simple web browsing. Other than this, there is no guarantee there will be greater apps in the future. The device lags every now and then, and the multitasking feature isn't wonderful. I would give this product a 7/10. I still find myself needing to use my iphone and desktop at home more often than I would like. Until I can completely rely on my tablet for my computing, I will not be completely satisfied.

I enjoy working with this unit. Although, i'm not a high tech w/computers, I find it easy to adapt & apply needed aps for work & play.This all my comments at this time.

I really enjoyed the windows operating system and how it integrates with other windows devices very easily. makes me want to get a new PC to use in conjunction with the new windows phone and new surface

Overall, this is a nice system. It would have been nice to have some basic directions included since the some functions are different than my desktop pc. I am very comfortable with Windows, but it took some trial and error to figure out how to navigate the desktop. It also is a bit slow when starting up programs.

This is the most efficient (price/performance) tablet that I've ever used. It is really great and I suggest to every one.

Microsoft Surface has great value for the money. Easy to use especially with the upgraded keyboard.

I got this item for a great deal on Cyber Monday and I actually bought 2 because of the price. The item is incredibly convenient. There is almost nothing to it at all and the stand on the back is a really nice feature. It is an easy way to surf the internet and/or social media sights. Great to hold in one hand.

This product is great for the price! It was easy to set up and start using and the apps/software that were pre-installed are just what my daughter needed! I would highly recommend this product to many. My daughter who is a college student is using the product and is working out for school and for personal use.

I'm a big apple fan and prefer iPads even if it's just a mini simply because Im use to using my iPhone so I'm not the 1 to be asking. I gave this tablet to my mom to use and she LOVES it. Very good tablet overall

It does the job of word processing and Internet surfing when I have to travel... but will take much more intentional effort to truly be able to use its features.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he has not set it down since. He will use this on a daily basis instead of the home computer now. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and would recommend the Surface over the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 tablet.

The Surface is not as easy to use as the iPad. I've only had it for about a month and yet have had to reset it a couple of times. Downloaded apps are hard to find. The tiles are nice once you get used to them.

It is a very portable tablet. It is fun. It does not have enough memory to play online games. I like the fun size of it.

My school age kids needed laptops to do research projects on and of course to play games! I don't have to worry about viruses with the built in protection and my kids can still download apps too!

This is the perfect tool to have if you are a student in college. Already has 2013 windows pre-installed into it, both a tablet and a laptop (if you buy the removable keyboard), and is great for multi-tasking.

My teenager is so tech savvy and he really wanted the Surface so he is really using it and maybe mom will get one at some point and he can teach her how to use it!

My daughter uses the Surface for school related work. She is able to write her papers using the bundled Microsoft student version of Office. It has been a nice complement to her desktop computer.

This is overall a very good product. I have an iPad also and feel that it has so much more capability than the iPad.

Love it!! Being a full time student and working a full time job, my laptop was beginning to be too much to carry around.
