It's a great unit, Windows 8 RT is fun to use, and works with other components like wirerless printers. It comes with Office so your able to jump right into your excel doc's and word doc's. Just get it as you won't not like it

Nice tablet. I took it to a meeting and found it useful for note taking and net surfing. Operating system is Win 8.1RT, which is NOT what I wanted. I thought I'd have the real thing So, there are some digital games I can't palsy on the tablet. The keyboard is too small, and it's hard to do word processing without a real mouse. This tablet was a gift from my sweet wife, and so I'll use it, but I think another tablet like Galaxy would be more cost effective.

If you dislike windows 8 you're gonna hate this thing.. I bought it for my mother and she forgot her password, now it just sits. Honestly it would be fore of a better use to us if we bought the $115+ Keyboard with it. Runs very few websites my iPad mini is too shy to run. If you're looking for a tablet. Look for something else, unless you want to buy the keyboard with it.

I got this as a Christmas present for my daughter she loves it. She can take it with her and use it anywere.

The tablet is great if you are just wanting a basic word processor or for Web use. Unable to download games and programs because of the RD OS.

This tablet serves the purpose of web browsing and basic computing (word processing, powerpoint, excell). However, the RT windows environment is challenging to learn and not so similar to the Windows 7 or 8 platforms. Thus, I am forced to learn a new, somewhat not generalizable, operating system. The tablet is fast, and the screen is clear and bright. One issue however is the fluidity of screen movement. Just a slight change in angle causes the screen to shift from vertical to horizontal mode and any hand gesture or vibration causes screen movements.

Always wanted a Surface, but was concerned about the RT not having enough apps. Got a great deal at Best Buy and couldn't resist. I found there was no need for concern as all my favorite apps are available. Surface is a very nice tablet with Windows 8. Very pleased with my Surface!!

Got this for my wife for Christmas because she has been wanting a tablet and I chose the Surface so you could use it for her college classes and she absolutely loves it. Definitely recommend.

I prefer the greater power of a laptop but this seems to be the direction things are heading. Bought for collage student on black Friday and will see if it does the work they think it will.

We purchased the surface for my 8th grade daughter to do homework, research, papers, etc. Very pleased with performance!

Really meets my needs on a portable basis. I am 66 yrs old and it is fairly easy for me to use. Screen resolution is great and I enjoy using it.

If you have a laptop and you love it then ur going to love this tablet its better then the ipad....

Alot of great features and runs well. I have to get used to the newer version of windows and this will help. It is much different then what i am used to using as far as XP and Windows 7.

Bought this tablet as a black Friday deal. Performance and quality are great great for the $200 price tag. If the price was any higher than that, I would have upgrading to the surface 2.

It is amazing tablet for the price. I found one disappointing thing which is I can't open all of my media files. I downloaded a lot of media player apps but still I having issue . If someone who have the same problem please share your experience. Over all it is fantastic tab.

I was impressed with the overall functionality of the Surface. It was easy to figure out on my own without classes or watching tutorials. I came from a laptop, this is my first tablet. I love it! I am disappointed that it doesn't have iTunes but still love it! No problems at all!

Great tablet for beginners, memory capacity for this one is not so great and can easily be filled quickly if you store music, pictures, documents, etc. Overall, good value when on sale.

All in all, this fits my needs. I wanted the flexibility of a tablet and a laptop. With the additional type cover it's exactly what I wanted.

I love my Surface tablet for it's easy to use interface and that it is instantly "on". No waiting to boot up. I keep it handy to my recliner so that I can just flip it open and check e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
