Great buy to test before buying the Pro 2

Rather than investing in the Pro 2, we bought this for our Teenager for college. So far it has provided what he needs for school so now we are looking at getting the Pro 2 since its a full version of Windows 8

Excellent product, great value

Hands down great upgrade over my android tablet. For me, lack of apps was overblown. So far any app I couldn't get I've been able to run with IE. Complete Office suite, including Outlook icing on the cake.

Bought it for my daughter

Compared to other tablets this one is perfect for a student. My daughter is able to work on her homework and presentations thanks to preinstalled software like word and powerpoint.

Great for all ages

Great gift for students

It's only enemy is actually the Surface Pro. The pro has a stylus that you can write with using OneNote and it is incredibly accurate. The RT does not sport that screen so it cannot be that good and for that, I turned it in for a Surface Pro. Saying that, the RT is still the most elaborate tablet that can do business and entertainment immaculately.

I have prepared PowerPoint presentations, documents, and sent photos taken with the camera. I have checked and sent emails, ordered Christmas gifts and tracked them, and played games or read books.
