The sixteen year old has been using the product,This was purchased for a young lady who would not be able to have this to call her own if not a gift.

For checking email it is great. Have not picked up the keyboard may make things easier. Typing on screen is easy but no right click that I can find.

I really like the features that come with the tablet. My email on this tablet is the same as on a computer or laptop. I would like more instructions e.g. how to remove tiles/appls that came pre-installed. Great camera and video.

Purchased for son's use in college. He needed microsoft word and powerpoint as well as the ability to use memory stick. We also bought him an iphone and he loved the surface so much he didn't even activate his iphone for 2 days!

Very nice but still getting used to it... Coming from a mac is a little frustrating but i guess ill b ok.

It's ok for simple functions, but limited apps is a real draw back. RT operating system is very inefficient

Whatever happened to user-friendly? I was loving the idea of a pc with touch but the os ruined it with windows 8. No longer intuitive and no tutorials to help you. I have been through so many pc's over the past 30 years so I am accustomed to change but this was ridiculous. Fix the os to something people would like to use again and I would gladly get a Touch Pc and love it.

Don't need a laptop if you have this. Even fun to play games & surf around for other things to do on it.

This was purchased for my daughter to use at school do to her having issues writing her notes. The only thing I don't like about it is Windows 8.

I really like it but my Verizon USP internet antenna will not work in it so I was very depressed about that. Difficult to find a good case for it.

I have just begun to use it. I am learning how to get around but I do like it. I believe the more I learn how to use it the more I will like it.

I think the tablet is a convenient way to use for both work and personal use. I love the windows office on the tablet. That is the best feature.

The surface is an excellent value for the money. It gives you a different experience than other Google and Apple tablets. Even though The app availability is limited, there are great apps like microfoSoft office and kindle.

I got this to make work easier, so I didn't have to carry a laptop around all the time. I have fallen in love with it and use it as a daily computer for personal use too.

It has Been great for my reading and traveling. The setup was good, had a little problem at first.

When it worked it worked great, but got old fast and not able to upgrade.

I like this product the more I use it. Wish they could have given me some instruction on the basics.

My son really enjoys the tablet. He uses it for school and fun. the one down side is finding reasonably priced products to go along with it

LOVE the Surface, just having a hard time when it comes to charging,

It's cool and flashy but you can't download app from the internet like Celtx, oovoo, iTunes, etc. you're only limited to what's in the AppStore. That limits it's use for screenwriters or editors. There are a lot of apps in the App Store that are false advertising. The iCloud service works fine but this isn't the device for a screen/play writer like myself.
