    Purchased as a gift for my teen son. He loves it. Has been able to work on homework/school projects and still play games. Love that it is expandable (memory) as opposed to some that do not allow external memory.

    The Surface comes loaded with lots of apps as well as the Windows Office programs - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Also has a decent camera.

    This is a well built machine that has the advantage of Office. Skydrive doesn't accommodate the size of file that I would need to fully utilize the device. They will have a winner of they can address the app gap.

    After the setup,which took forever with the patches then upgrade to 8.1 then more patches it worked great. The more you use windows 8 the easier it is. One thing I don't like power cord. Very hard to plug in.

    I really like the tablet, I travel for work and I really wsnted to use Google Chrome, but in order to get the Google Chrome you have to get the Surface Pro
