Good Mouse Overall

Generally this mouse is quite nice, but is missing a few key features that would add to the overall user experience. The mouse feels quite ergonomic generally even for my bigger wider hands and it ok to use for the most part. Unfortunately, since they removed the center haptic feedback, its hard to tell when you've started scrolling and what point you stopped scrolling. Moreover, there's unfortunately no workaround for the center scroll button hence you're missing an entire button compared to a conventional mouse. The best feauture of this mouse is how seamlessly it connects to the surface pro and how pleasing it is aesthetically.

I recently purchased the Microsoft Surface Arc Wireless BlueTrack Ambidextrous Mouse in black and I am extremely satisfied with its performance.
First of all, the design of this mouse is sleek and modern, which complements the design of the Microsoft Surface perfectly. The black color adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall look. The Arc design is unique and innovative, allowing the mouse to be curved for use and flattened for easy storage. This feature is not only convenient but also adds a stylish aesthetic to the device.
In terms of functionality, the BlueTrack technology provides accurate tracking on various surfaces, including glass, which is a huge advantage. The cursor moves smoothly and precisely, enhancing the overall user experience. I have experienced no lag or interruptions while using this mouse, even during extended periods of use.
Another great feature of this mouse is its wireless capability. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless and reliable, allowing me to connect the mouse to my device effortlessly. There are no messy wires to deal with, making it a great choice for a clutter-free workspace.
The ambidextrous design is a major plus for left-handed individuals like myself. It fits comfortably in both hands and the curved shape provides a natural grip, reducing strain and discomfort during prolonged use. The touch-sensitive scroll strip is responsive and allows for easy scrolling in any direction.
Battery life is impressive, with up to 6 months of usage on a single charge. The charging process is simple and quick using the magnetic snap-on feature. Additionally, the mouse automatically powers off when flattened for storage, further increasing its efficiency and conserving battery life.
Overall, I highly recommend the Microsoft Surface Arc Wireless BlueTrack Ambidextrous Mouse in black. It offers a perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality. The advanced features, wireless connectivity, and long-lasting battery life make it an excellent investment for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile mouse.

It is a nice mouse and easy to connect to the Microsoft computer without using the port for a wireless Bluetooth transmitter. The shape takes some getting used to because it does not have the sides like a traditional mouse.

I read so many iffy reviews on this I was hesitant to try it but with Best Buy's great return policy (especially for Elite members) I was confident that I wouldn't be losing anything either way.
This mouse has far exceeded my expectations. It's possible that is because I had lowered them after reading but I haven't found any of the issues I've seen talked about.
1) Setup: When using this with my new Surface Pro 7 I pulled the tab out of the battery pack and clicked the mouse into place to turn it on and the tablet saw and asked to connect immediately. Of course I said yes and after a short driver setup the mouse was working with no issues.
2) Connectivity: I have had no issues with the mouse connecting as soon as I click it into place. It also works perfectly from 10-20 ft across the room. I love being able to click turn the mouse on, do some quick work with it, then fold it flat and set it aside. It's been a lot more useful than I thought it would be.
3) Ergonomics: I have pretty big hands and have had no issues sliding the mouse around with my palm or just my fingertips. When clicked into place it actually feels like most of the other "ergonomic" mice I'm working with.
4)Tracking: Seems to be as accurate as any other mouse I have for my work though I haven't tried to do any fine detailed work with it since the Surface Pen is so great for that. Works well enough to quickly navigate with, play games, and copy, paste, and edit scripts on multiple workspaces. The sensor also seems to work on any surface. I started using it on my bare leg and it worked great on there though anything will work better on a properly textured workspace or mousepad.
5) Portability: This is actually a huge plus for me. This mouse slides perfectly into one of the notebook slots inside of the Timbuk2 classic messenger bag. The other notebook slot fits my aircard. It's a perfect and powerful setup with the i7 Surface Pro 7.
I would definitely recommend getting this mouse and if you're unsure you can always try it out and return it within the return period (which currently during the holiday is sometime in early January, a two month trial won't hurt).

If you are using a Surface and have limited space or you travel, it’s a great mouse. The only set back, it’s very expensive for a mouse.

Bought this mouse because I can’t stand track pads and prefer the mouse to the pen when using the Surface Pro like a laptop.
This mouse is ergonomic yet still super sleek. I love that clicking it flat turns it off to conserve battery but it reconnects via Bluetooth instantly and automatically when turned back on. Being able to flatten it also makes it easy to slip in my bag with my computer when it’s time to go, and clicking it into the arc position looks cool. Highly functional. Works on multiple surfaces, good shape, scrolls easily vertically and horizontally. Great purchase

Absolutely love this mouse. Great for traveling when you’re trying to reduce bulk. If I had one critique, it would be that I wish it wasn’t battery powered, but I understand even that because it means you don’t have to rely on it holding a charge. Got this and the OriMouse and MUCH PREFER THIS.

Overall, its difficult to call this is a great mouse versus all mouses. Its just not. It does not feel great in the hands. Does not have all the buttons I wish it had. The scroll pad is not super responsive in comparison to a wheel. And so forth.
However, if you want something that can lay flat and go in a portfolio case or back pocket of your pants or whatever, this is the best you will find. It does have a left and right button, it does scroll with the trackpad, and at least meets all basic requirements. Its also light, looks nice, and tracks better than expected. Setup is a breeze.
Its hard to say I would buy this again. It does solve a problem. But, I like having my forward/back buttons. I like wheel scroll left and right in addition to up and down. If you can live with the obvious lack of buttons and whatnot, then you will appreciate this product. Dont expect a full featured mouse.

It took two tries to find that worked well with my Surface Pro 8. Well, almost worked. Using a mouse-centric app like MS Solitaire, the mouse would occasionally (as in every minute or so) seemingly disconnect. Closing then opening it got it to work until the next time. Apps less mouse-centric fared better. It seems to be the Surface/Surface mouse combo, as the mouse works as expected with another desktop computer.
I also miss the haptic feedback from the "wheel" that the older design had. Still love the way it flattens out to turn off.
With reservations, I do recommend this mouse because of how compact it is when flattened out = how it's turned off.
