Very happy with this purchase. It's beautiful and haven't had any problems with it. Has all noted features and speed is great. Small enough to carry with me everywhere I go. Worth the price.

The answer to that question is “ehh, depends on what you need it for.” After being a Mac owner for 8 years, I decided to branch out and try the surface book due to its dual functionality as a tablet. Beings I am a graduate student, I use my laptop very frequently and enjoy writing my notes out for review. After writing for 30 minutes or so, the computer gets very hot and begins to glitch at which point I have to give it a rest then resume writing. The face recognition sign in feature is unique and comes in handy when it wants to work.. it is extremely lighting dependent however, sometimes the lighting is normal and it freezes up and won’t unlock. Overall, I’m glad I got this laptop as it has come in handy, however, I believe my next purchase will be that of the Apple family.

I wanted a tough computer and this is it! I've bought three (two 15" for my mobile business and one 13.5" for personal). What sold me to get the other two was that I have dropped this one and despite cracked screen and dents (metal case), it still works. I like the detachable screen which I will be sending in for repair/replacement when can transfer some critical files for work to my desktop while it is out. The biggest con is the power supply is cheaply made and separates at the computer connection and the cord to the transformer, but these are low cost to replace and interchangeable with the larger versions.

I've used this computer for a couple months as a student. I appreciate how light it is. Compared to my books I don't even know it's in my backpack. Startup is quick and runs nice. I feel like if I dropped it, some serious damage could happen.

As a MAC user I bought this while visiting the US when I thought I was going to be stuck having to 'work from home' remotely so to speak. I have been so impressed with this Laptop which fulfils all my needs. Now at home in the UK I am exclusively using the Surface Book with an external screen + I now have the Surface Dock. The performance is first rate and I have been doing a full days work with no issues. I am a Clinical Systems IT person with our NHS and have found this so much easier to work with. Very impressed with Windows 10 pro (which I didn't realise I was getting). As the title says at $999 with every dollar

honestly didn't think the 2nd one would be much different from the 1st but this one is so much more accurate and feels like a better har drive and the speed it way better.

is a good product a little complicated ask all the time sing in all the time I want to use it and already has applications and requires to pay for them should not because it is very expensive

Love this laptop and tablet. Bought for my son to take to school. An excellent choice. Great quality. Light weight and ability to take notes right on the tablet!

I love the surfaces and they are so completely equal to a macbook pro in terms of performance, battery, specs. It's great for everything anyone might need, including light gaming.

Plenty of other laptops offer better specs for the price point but the build quality is not nearly as good as the surface book 2. The detachable screen is nice but honestly doesnt get all that much use.

This laptop/tablet combo is exactly what I wanted. It's powerful, has a ton of memory, and is majorly portable. The screen is very responsive when using the stylus. Highly recommend it!

Probably could have gotten a stronger surface with a keyboard cover and been just as happy but its a decent laptop. Best I've had so far OEM. Fun features built into windows unique to surface

So far so good. Little challenging to set up without help. Excellent speed and durability. Love the detachable screen/ tablet ability. Using it mostly for school work and reasearch.

I'm a basketball coach so I love the ability to detach the screen and use it as a tablet when needed, but also for business purposes to use it as a laptop! It's the perfect 2 in 1.

Easy to use and fantastic functionality and ease of use. Reccomend to anyone who needs the portability of a tablet but the full function of a laptop.

I’ve had this laptop for almost 2 months and it’s so easy to use and practical for taking to school. No longer have to carry around 10 notebooks. The pen is a must when getting this laptop!

Bought this Surface for my final year of college. Used it extensively for term papers and spread sheets. Bigger screen and more substantial keyboard than a previous surface I had made this a better choice.

My favorite computer ever! I love the programs, the quick processing and much more. The only thing I don't like is the charger - I have to figet it to make it work.
