The advertising makes this product look better than it is. I'm still on the fence with it - for the money. I think I could have got a perfectly good laptop for a much better price - however, I'm still learning. I think for someone more artistic and skilled, it probably could be very useful.

Awesome for graphics, forms, etc. the price was high but soon after realized it was worth it.

I previously owned a 17 inch HP, it works great but too heavy to carry around. Bought Microsoft surface little but great, & very light. It's compact size makes it portable for school & traveling around. Size creates easy fit in small areas. I love my Microsoft surface. Bravo Microsoft.

I bought this to update my 5 year old computer. I returned it after 3 days. THE GOOD: -The screen is amazing. Beats out the new MacBook Pro easily. -Sleek and attractive, well-built -Keyboard is great THE AVERAGE: -The stylus is a nice touch but it's a bit clunky to actually use. Not precise feeling like the Apple Pencil. THE BAD -The touch pad. Man this had such potential. I use my laptop mostly for editing photos, and you often need to make tiny adjustments to grab a slider in PS. The trackpad on the Surface Book would constantly miss these small inputs. It was really frustrating to use. -Top heavy. Fatigues your wrists holding it down in your lap. -I managed to soft-brick the computer just by turning it on. I wanted to like this computer. I just couldn't.

The surface book is a very portable little laptop. Although I wish it would folder 360 degrees I still am very happy with my purchase. The pen is also a wonderful addition. It is worth the price, and when the price drops it will be a steal. Microsoft is ahead of the market with Surface Book

I have been an Apple user for years but plan on going into Engineering and Microsoft package had what I would need for college. I received it for Christmas with the thought of a learning curve time frame. I really like the computer as it has been much easier to learn then I thought.

It came in quality packaging and very Easy to set up. Nice and light to carry but still a decent size screen. it is very user friendly. The whole family enjoys it and the drawing ability is a big hit. Removable tablet does not get used as much as we thought but the notebook is used a ton!

The computer/ tablet is great it does everything you would want it to do. The downside of it is sometimes detaching the tablet from the keyboard can be hard. However for the price your battery lasts long, and you can convert the tablet/ computer several ways to accommodate your needs.

I have only had this laptop for about two months but love it! It is light and easy to carry to and from class. I am in graduate school and so far it has met all of my needs. Also, about 15-20 other students in my class have the same laptop and it works great for them too.

The Surface Book is by far the useful tablet/laptop I have purchased in years. It functions as good or better than any high end tablet on the market and can keep up with all but the high end gaming laptops in that mode. I have even run CIV 5 and 6 on it without any difficulties.

I love then pen that come with it. Makes it a whole lot easier to use. I absolutely love that it can be used in tablet mode. It has a touch screen that also is a great advantage in today's technology driven world.

I really enjoy my surface book. It's fun for drawing, quick response, and easy to use. I don't like that I can't pushed the screen farther back. When it sits on my lap, i would like to push the screen back a bit so it's easier to see but I can't do that.

Great performance for work, just amazing how fast it is.

Upgraded from a Surface Pro 3. Really like it. Have had a couple times where the touch stops working, but definitely easier to type my MBA papers than my Pro 3. Little pricey, but I had a student discount and BB matched the cheapest price they could find.

Even better than the previous model I used for work.

Is a fabulous piece of equipment. I will have no problem reccomending this to a friend.

I'm a college student and although it is pricey I recommend. I can fit it in a purse it charges quick and it's great to take notes on. I personally hate to type my notes but I also hate having all my notes I separate notebooks I can do it all on here.

Just upgraded by computer and find the new Surface Book 12 fast and with many options, including the use of a stylus. Love the visual and sound excellence. I highly recommend this computer to anyone needing a strong, sturdy performance based system.

The surface does everything my laptop can do and more in a smaller sleeker product.

Enjoying the versatility of this product and hoping with this purchase I will have less need for a laptop and separate tablet. I did have an issue with the general audio driver within the first few weeks, but was able to download new driver.
