This is not really an android phone. It is absolutely a productivity tool. Compare it to using 2 screens at your office. It is NOT one large screen, but used as 2 separate screens. The apps works great across the 2 screens. It really enhances your work. It works great as a phone too as it is fast and 5g.

I upgraded from the Surface Duo 1 and this is definitely a good upgrade. The faster chip, better cameras and NFC for payments were worth the upgrade for me. Fit and finish is good and having two screens to run two apps at once is the killer feature. I don’t think I can go back to a regular phone. Just having the wider screen on each display makes things easier to read.

It's a wonderful productivity device. If you're looking for a phone to get work done, this will do everything that you need to do. Multitasking is a breeze using two screens at the same time and it doesn't take a whole lot of work to get it done

Had Fold 3 but too bulky / thick / heavy. Duo 2 is much better at productivity as opening two apps side by side is much easier. Even for media consumption, movies on the fold 3 were letterboxed anyway so I actually enjoy the Duo 2 for watching movies as much if not more.... Watching in tent mode with the Duo 2 is way more convenient. Only thing that zfold 3 is better is the software... Much smoother than Microsoft's implementation of android

Flor anyone who utilizes dual monitors whether at work or home will really appreciate the dual screen opportunity that the Surface Duo brings to the table. It opens up a whole new and exciting means of engaging with content. I love it when people notice my Surface Duo and say, "Is that your phone?" I reply, "Yeah, it's pretty awesome." I wouldn't go back to a single screen device. This is too much fun!

Great device for business users. Ability to use dual NAM allows me to use two carriers with one device (Verizon / T-Mobile). Only concern is camera is buggy with certain apps. Defaults to wide angle lens when depositing checks using banking app.

Stunning screens, great hinge and the majority of the bugs from the Duo 1 are gone. Very nice camera and a great device from a productivity standpoint. I am not a huge picture guy or gamer but use it more for work and for that it is outstanding

Excellent phone if you play many games, watch YouTube.
I got rid of my fold3 to get this and I don't regret it one bit. Spanning games across the 2 screens is excellent. And it can always be used as a single screen phone. The screens dollars wide and comfortable. Love this phone.

After two weeks with I can honestly say it has made me excited about new tech. It has no lag time using multiple apps. The battery lasts a good day and a half. This is not some ordinary phone it’s a real workstation. To be honest it reminds me of the blackberries hmm could it be the blackberry reinvented, I don’t know but it’s pretty darn close.

Having two screens with a 4:3 aspect ratio is great if you wish to use your phone more productively. I have no major complaints, but there are some minor bugs in the software. The worst being that I sometimes have to restart the phone before it will charge. Nothing that happens is more than an occasional annoyance, however.

The Duo 2 is my daily driver and has been a great device thus far. Most of the negative views that I have seen about this device were wrong. I'm a student in college and have used the Duo 2 to do class work. I can have the textbook on one screen and take notes on the other. The Surface pen works great on the device. I have also had research material on one screen and Word on the other when writing a research paper. The Duo 2 is a unique device and is not for everyone but as advertised, it is a productivity device.
The displays are beautiful. The device is quick and responsive and looks and feels premium. So far, the device seems durable.
I have not experienced any bugs that a lot of reviews complained about. I don't care about the cameras on phones but I think it is worth mentioning that the camera on this device is good, not great. It struggles sometimes in low light areas. Under normal lighting conditions it take good pictures. Battery life could be better but it gets me through the day.
With some updates and optimization this device is only going to get better.

Great upgrade! I had the first generation Duo and it was amazing with the dual screens and is always the topic of conversation when we go out! Now they made it even better! The camera is amazing in the very thin form factor and still a head turner! Great phone, great camera and definitely worth the purchase!

I truly love this phone. I use this phone for my consulting business and it is great. I love the dual screen where I can work while checking my messages and email. The sleek appeal lends great to a purse or pocket. I highly recommend a work phone.

On hands over 24 hours. Not for everyone, if you had the duo1 and loved the concept, pick this up asap. It has improve every fails of duo1. I had the duo1 for a month. Speaker, camera, software, phone recepetion with verizon, all my issued are solved. Its not over priced compared to z fold, and new iphone, phone prices are up there, period. I came form the note 10+, husband has the z fold for years, I didnt like the clunky z fold 2, so I actually waited for this gen. The camera bump does not bother me at all. Phone feels sturdy and my hands, and made well. No software bugs that I've noticed.

Having the ability to have two independent screens running either a browser or app was exactly what I needed for my business. The functionality will allow me to carry this around instead of a tablet or laptop. I use this for business and I'm really happy I waited for the Duo 2.

So many improvements made from Duo 1 but it still feels half baked. I strongly recommend waiting for the inevitable price drop like Duo 1 got before buying. New camera system was desperately needed and is passable, battery life is okay, software is still buggy but better than Duo 1 - this is just such an awkward to suggest at a 1500 price point I can't recommend it until a significant price drop.

I absolutely love this phone. I am able to multitask and it is far better then the Duo 1 although I loved that phone too this is a HUGE upgrade. Highly recommend for multitaskers!
