This adapter serves its purpose as advertised. Until corporate-like conference rooms change their standard, this will be needed. Wanted to use my surface for a meeting but only HDMI cables were available. Pulled my surface mini adapter out and it worked like a charm. Killed the meeting!

I’ve used this daily for a month in order to connect my second monitor to my laptop (Windows Surface Laptop 2). There’s been no connection issues so far. I don’t know if there’s an alternate cord other than this one that can be used for my laptop model.

In this day with 50 plugs and 49 adapters, it's nice to have a good product that works to connect.

If you're looking for an adapter that will allow you to get your full HDMI experience from a display device for your Microsoft Surface, this adapter is for you. Very easy to use, not overly priced, and you get to enjoy a full HD Experience.

I've spent time looking for an alternative for this but to no avail. These are 'active' DP to HDMI converters. Only 4 stars mainly because of the price. Too high for a cable in my opinion.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Took it out of the box and it worked immediately with no issues. Have used it for a month now for work and it has made it easy to unhook and hook up my surface as i come and go.

I've been using 2 of these with my Surface for several months and no issues. In the past I've had issues with off brand cables and adapters but these are made by Microsoft and with that you get the build quality you expect!

I have a small computer with no HDMI port. This works well and has made presenting so much easier.

The previous adapter I had that was a generic brand kept on failing. I was on a trip and needed a new one. BestBuy came through with a reduced price open-box that was just perfect. Works amazing.

Didn't realize I needed this until I was putting together my whole desk setup with the Microsft laptop hooking into docking station and 2 monitors. Had to place another order asap once I realized I couldn't get my monitors hooked up without these!

I’ve struggled with third party mini display port to HDMI adapters consistently working. I found the Microsoft brand and it’s worked great for me. No more looking at a blank monitor!

I bought one of these for one son to display his computer on his plasma TV and just bought a second one for my other son to use for hooking into a second monitor. When classes are in Zoom, great to have a second monitor!

What can you say? This adapter works as expected. Plug my surface into our TV regularly and this does the job. However the newer Surfaces have changed the ports so make sure this one matches your device.

Works great with my Microsoft Surface tablet. I needed a HDMI connection for a presentation I was doing on a big screen TV, and it did marvelous with no loss of quality with the display.

It works perfectly fine if all you need is the adapter portion. Just know that this product does not come with the HDMI cable. They do sell ones that come with it though but I don’t think Microsoft makes them. Best Buy has them though.

Bought this to be able to add an external monitor to use with a Microsoft Surface Book. You can add a wireless Keyboard and Mouse to a Surface Book and fold th tablet and use an external monitor as the primary screen. Simple to use no set up required for the adapter.

For the Surface, this is most reliable and best display quality adapter that i have used

Not just mini display port to HDMI, but full support for driving a 4K UHD TV as a monitor with a Mac Pro. And it was readily available at my local Best Buy store. Perfect way to repurpose a 4K TV when you upgrade your TV.

This product works flawlessly with my Surface pro. No issues with image quality as I have experienced with other brands. I would recommend it.
