hooks up effortlessly and simple to use. picture from the surface book to tv looks amazing, on mine at least. it looks better on my tv than it does on the surface book.

Works well.I thought I needed this to get it to transmit Audio and Video from the Surface to my Projector and Surround Sound system but turns out it's a setting you need to change and really any adapter should do the trick. Buy if you want something good and reliable but realize there are other options out there.

Its a docking station for the surface line of products. It works as advertised. We connect two monitors to the surface, and use the surface itself as a third - but small - monitor.

This adapter came in really handy while on the road teaching a class. Most organizations only have HDMI inputs on projectors, and this adapter allows for the connection from a surface machine (mini displayPort) to HDMI. Just a little pricey. I'd love if it was under 20 bucks.

I head to work from home and my work tower only had a mini-display port but my TV had HDMI. Since I wanted to use the full resolution of the 43" 4K TV, I needed an adapter that could handle the resolution. The other adapters can only go up to 1920x1200 but this one can support up to 3840x2160 which is why it's a little bit more expensive. Change the TV setting from movies/games to text. This way the text will be sharp and not blurry. It's fantastic! Doing CAD on a screen that big is great! The adapter was well worth it!
