works much better than the aftermarket stylus I've tried

I like this pen, when I have to do detailed work it makes it a lot easier.

The pen achieves many shortcuts and is a perfect compliment to the tablet

The pen works great and allows one to write on the screen shot they took.

I am glad they did black, blue, and red surface pens with the Surface 3. I have the Cyan Keyboard and didn't really want black or red and the blue was too dark and would have clashed. I thought the silver was awesome looking when it first came out with the surface 3. I love how the One Note button is purple which pops. The pen is amazing and is a must buy for Surface owners!

Simple to connect to Surface tablet and handy when you don’t have a mouse.

It works well when taking notes on one note. Also great for highlighting

The pen is just like writing on paper. The only problem is I can't figure out if the battery is running dead or if it is a problem with the pen but sometimes it disconnects and doesn't keep writing. Kind of a pain sometimes but overall it is good.

The pen works with all programs I've tried it with so far. Easy to use.

I love being able to take notes on my surface.it helps for work.

This is great in terms of writing over pictures or in One Notes. No shaking, perfect handwriting. The only reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars is that sometimes writing-to-type in a word document produces odd errors (which may be user-error) and the loop to hold it onto the surface is ridiculously flimsy and not secure

The surface Pro three "pen" was one of the key reasons why went the Microsoft surface route. It is a true digitizing device that makes writing on a tablet akin to paper and pen. I purchased this as a second device as a back up because it is indispensable for my use in my business. Amazon has them cheaper, but Best Buy always matches the price!
