I have been using this for a few months now to complete my homework. I also have a MacBook Pro, but did not want to deal with VMs all the time to be able to complete my homework which required applications that only run on Windows. I had an older Lenovo that served more as a backup but because of the specs of the computer it would not run quick enough to complete the tasks I needed to. I like how quickly the surface boots up and the touchscreen works great especially when I need to take quite a few screenshots and be selective of what is included. It is very fast in starting and running applications which makes completing homework with multiple applications open a breeze.

I have no complaints about this product. I wanted a Windows tablet that was as powerful as a laptop and ultra portable and this fit perfectly. The pros are in my opinion it is a great alternative to low to mid tier laptops the con is it is extremely expensive. Keyboard, pen sold separately and both add to the overall cost of the device. If you are doing light work I recommend looking else where but if you are looking for a laptop that is as portable as a tablet with great battery life I recommend this device.

I bought the nSP after exhaustive research for a product I could use on the road to support my work activities. I prefer Apple products, but MS does not provide all the applications I need for work. After I got the nSP set up with the software I need; I have been loving it. The portability is exactly what I was looking for and the i7 model exhibits every bit of capability I require. Using this little piece of tech is a joy and I'm glad I spent the money.

Love this laptop. It's fast and a good product. It's light weight and will be easy to travel with.

My laptop died several years ago and I have been putting off buying a new one. I tried replacing my laptop with a tablet which proved difficult and I did not want something bulky that I would have to drag everywhere with me. The surface is the perfect in between product for me. It it lightweight and easy to carry around, fits nicely in my backpack! I was not sure what to expect from this product but so far I am very pleased.

Great battery life. Lightweight. Has plenty of storage.

Bought the Surface for another employee who travels. They are very happy with the ease of transport and quick turn on.

I bought this thing to replace my surface pro 3 and I have not been disappointed. The battery life is awesome, device is slimmer and more classy. Microsoft definitely did a great job with this one. I have had no issues other than the occasional screen color issues. i.e whites looking like some sort of cream.

I use it to replace a laptop for engineering work and don’t have any issues. (Mechanical engineering ‘18)

The i7 variant of the Surface Pro 2017 is awesome. Between the i7 and the 256gb SSD, this computer is very quick! I read a lot of reviews that brought up whether or not the fan noise is loud (if/when the fan turns on). My answer would be a big N-O! During the Windows 10 update (which took FOREVER, by the way) the fan did turn on for several minutes, but it was only just barely noticeable. If you are in a completely silent classroom, the person right next to you would almost certainly not notice that the fan turned on. The fan noise in a non-issue! The Surface Pro 2017 is built beautifully, and everything feels very sturdy and of high quality materials. The only down side that I can think of is that there aren't a lot of ports.

This laptop is a whole new experience. The display is astonishing, the ease of navigation is flawless and the speed is remarkable. I still have many things to learn as far as it's capabilities, because it's jam packed of oohs and aahs. You won't regret this purchase!

This is the latest in the Surface Pro line, and continues to be a quality product. It is easy to set up, and easy to use. The only downside is the fact that right out of the box the Windows 10 operating system required several updates that took over an hour to complete.

It is truly a marvel. Lightweight, very portable. Clear screen, easy to type on keyboard.

This is really best in class. A true workhorse, nothing compares in the work environment.

I love the Microsoft computer. It is small enough that I can take it with me to my classes so I can just do my notes on it then instead of on paper

I just recently bought this for over seas travel, it's light and not as bulky as some laptops or my laptop I have now. So I'm hoping it stays great and Easy to use since it's been doing great for me so far. Another review will be inputted after I return.

I bought the Surface Pro to use on business travel and find it to be the perfect on the go laptop. It's got all the power you need, doubles as a tablet and has great battery life. Built in stand is a plus the iPad pro can't compete with.

Sleek and thin. I had to get the one with more memory however because my engineers needed more memory. Otherwise a perfect computer.

I have used this mostly as a work tool, so I can’t speak to the gaming capabilities of the Surface..... yet. I use this for two different jobs that I do. I run a lot of excel, internet searches, document editing, advertisment editing, and a few other things. The other job I use a lot of PowerPoint and do a lot of presenting and so far I haven’t had any issues or wished it would do more. What I really like that Microsoft implemented (honestly first Microsoft product in almost 12yrs) is the ability to adjust your power settings. I travel a lot and so being able to tone down the battery usage while traveling is really nice. Only thing is I wish it came with one more USB 3 port in it, but I found a 4-1 USB splitter for $10 that solved the issue that I had.
