Do leave home without it. Perfect addition for the Surface. With an extra large monitor, I don't even know that I'm not driving on a tablet.

A must have to use with a large external monitor for presentations and you can charge multiple other devices through the many usb ports

I bought this as a gift. The recipient has reported no problems to this point so it seems to do what it is advertised to do. Only gave it 4 stars because it seems rather overpriced for what it does.

The Surface dock is a must-have! Eliminates dragging the power cord around and from having to get under my desk to plug in every time!

makes hooking up and walking away real easy. First time I docked it, it felt a little weird how they have it docked, but it works.

Really like this dock. No troubles whatsoever. Hooked up a monitor to the dock and have two monitors...the tablet and the monitor.

Just love how the dock holds the Surface upright and provides usb ports. I can dock the Surface and still keep the keyboard cover on

This is a great addition to the SP3. It allows for charging the tablet while also allowing the tablet to function like a desktop.

The surface pro 3 is as advertised - a laptop and a tablet, all rolled into one device. If you buy this dock, it becomes a desktop PC as well. Just set it in the slot, slide the dock ends into place, and you're done! Couldn't be easier. No cords to plug in, they are already plugged into the dock waiting for you. Plus, you get a ton on usb ports and another mini-display port, so you can run multiple monitors easily. We ran two external hdmi displays at the same time as the internal display.

The docking station transforms what could be considered as a really cool laptop or tablet into a absolute blazing fast desktop. I have a 23" monitor, a real mouse and keyboard, an external drive, wired internet, sound equipment all controlled from my tiny Surface Pro! In point of fact, you don't even see it as it hides behind the monitor! If I had one tiny pick is that the surface pro doesn't really like booting up in the dock. I boot it up and then but it in the dock and all is well, however.

Great way to charge and expand your Surface options with the added ports it make it convenient to expand your Surface.

I like having a dedicated place to charge the surface and have my Blu-ray drive, wireless keyboard, mouse all connected.

This docking station works great and worked right out of the box. It took a few restarts as the firmware was not quite up to date but it successfully added an external monitor (thru Playport); my 3.0 external hard drives; a DVD drive; It charges the SP3 while in the station and you can leave the keyboard attached if you want.

This is a must have accessory to gain the full functionality of the SP3. I have one in the office and one at home.

Works well with my new Surface Pro. Screen is at proper angle to use when docked. The additional ports are a plus.

I'm not a windows user, but a mac user. This tablet was easy to use and I love the size and the small weight of it.

I use an external keyboard and large monitor. The docking station was adequate for all of my necessary connections

Works great. It is very light weight. I even take it to and from work. It isn't bulky and it has a lot of ports.
