This is a perfect computer that can be used as a tablet as well. The speed is fast and the Touch-screen is amazingly accurate. You don't have to poke it several times to get it to respond, once does it. The color is vibrant, and the picture is sharp. It has a very long lasting battery that far surpasses my iPad. I am very happy with the Surface and recommend it to anyone is looking for a all around great laptop.

The Surface Pro is fast, lightweight and sleek. I'm so much more likely to do writing on this than my heavy laptop. The display is crystal clear - so easy to look at. The kickstand is much better than I expected. It can be put is just about any degree angle you could want and it does not slip. I got the keyboard, as well, in this order. It attaches beautifully and has such a nice key response. I haven't used the camera yet, so I'm not able to rate that. I do wish that there were more apps/tiles to choose from. I know there are tons, but I'm used to certain apps on my smart phone and tablet that I haven't been able to find for Windows. This wins kudos from me.

I did my research before purchasing the Surface Pro 6. As you can see, this laptop/tablet isn’t cheap, but I really needed to buy a new one for my college assignments. I love how easy it is to use! It is so lightweight and convenient when I’m using it in class, it has allowed me to take the best notes possible. I’d recommend this Surface Pro to anyone, but especially college students. Worth every dollar!

The Microsoft Surface has been the perfect tool to help with teaching in the classroom. It is light weight, easy to use, and the ability to have it be a tablet or a laptop has been great! The only downfall is that is can be unstable if not on a table or flat surface. The rigidity of a normal laptop is missed when you switch to this kind of computer, but the benefits far outweigh the downside.

This is a great laptop I previously had a surface pro 3 but just upgraded to a 6 I absolutely love this product. I definitely see the difference in speed and load times with the 8gb ram and the new i5 processor. everything runs nice and smooth. Love that it also is really light and compact so its very portable and easy to take with you on trips, work, or school. Really awesome product

The only computer that I need. Great at home with the docking station. Not too heavy to carry elsewhere. Chose it over the Surface Go because of the larger screen; often I am using it with a split screen, so the larger size works well. I did not purchase the keyboard since I have one at home that is used via the docking station. On the go I use the Surface pen, which works well.

Im going back to get my masters and needed a new computer. The surface pro 6 is light weight and the perfect size. The keyboard is large enough to mimic a regular keyboard but still small and portable. Having the built in stand in the back is great for watching shows in your free time and the writing feature with the pen is very efficient. I'm truly glad I made this purchase!

We bought this for my wife who wanted a new tablet. She also wanted to be able to use this as a computer. Surface excels at both, and it is easy to switch from laptop to tablet mode. The display is excellent, colors well saturated, and no lag when viewing video. As a tablet, it is light, fast, and easy to use. I have a 2017 Surface Pro, this new surface is a worthy upgrade.

She did her homework, looked closely at the newest Ipad, and ultimately went with this model. It has the graphical capability she's looking for for her art, while having all the power she needs for browsing, Office apps, etc. It's size will make it more easily stored and lugged between class and dorm. She's had it about a month so far and not a single complaint.

This is the 2nd surface pro (coming from a surface pro 3) and the major things I noticed is far better screen quality, thinner bezels, faster performance (obviously thanks to newer specs), respectable speakers, sturdier hinge, and fantastic battery life. If these factors and criteria matter, go for it.

I bought a SP6 because I had heard Microsoft had taken strides to improve battery life and I like the idea behind a hybrid tablet. Battery life is indeed better, but relative to other tablets (e.g. iPad) the battery life still leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe 7 hours with normal use; other Windows devices can do a lot better. Windows just still doesn’t act as a good tablet OS; apps run hidden in the background, some apps aren’t optimized for touch, and it’s slow in ways that surprise (e.g. launching apps), and the Windows App Store still has a ton of garbage software. Very few of the apps you’d expect to see on a tablet/mobile device. The fact that it also doesn’t haven any USB-C ports came as a pretty big disappointment too. So not great as a tablet; what about as a laptop? Eh. The keyboard is an extra $130 or so; it’s decent but connects to the tablet in a flimsy manner that requires some yoga positions to hold steady in the lap. The kickstand is nice, no arguments there, but think about it: to type with it in your lap, you’re basically balancing three thin points of connection to keep it sturdy. The iPad doesn’t have much articulation and the keyboard is flat, but it’s sturdy: you can pick the whole thing up by just the keyboard. The battery and power are middle-of-the-road for a windows laptop; if you get the $899 i5 model it’s not a bad deal except you still have to buy a keyboard. No pen is included anymore, so I didn’t try that. On the SP4 it was okay. If you want a Windows tablet, I can’t imagine that any is better than the Surface when all is considered. However, if want you want is an iPad-like tablet, this is not the device for you. I thought I’d get this instead of a new iPad Pro based on things I’d read, and it clear to me that either I’m just not interested in going back to Windows at all or I’m just too used to the ease and reliability of iOS in a tablet.

I am really enjoying returning to the Surface Pro. For a few years I tried to use an iPad as my all-around productivity device, and so many jobs just took too long or were just plain impossible. If you have used a Surface Pro in the past few years, everything is pretty much the same, with the bonus of a speedier processor and improved battery life. The screen is still a pleasure to use, and touch sensitivity to your fingers or with the Surface Pen is great. I just wish that a USB-C port was present for better future-proofing, and that the pen was included for the price.

Overpriced didnt come with the keyboard. If you want to use it as a laptop you must purchase a mouse a usb device and keyboard. They also sell a pen if you want to use it as just a tablet. This device should have been advertised at a lower price considering all the other things you need to buy. The laptop is kinda heavy from the back but easily opens & closes. The charger is magentic so you dont need to worry about it messing up. The battery life is wayyyyyy much better than the other surface go laptop and thats nice. I like it and the speakers are loud and clear!
