If you are on the go with your surface this is a must. I bought mine as an open box and I get why they are returned because they aren't cheap. I've used off brand ones but they don't work as well as the Microsoft brand. I've had two surface pros and ended up buying the Microsoft keyboard after both off brand boards were finicky. Both Microsoft boards I bought as a open box item and I've had no issues with them. This particular one feels better than the older boar and the recess for the pen is a nice touch. It also protects your screen when it's folded up and the magnets keep it from flopping around. highly recommended.

Excellent small attachment. Really it’s necessary so I don’t see any good reason why it’s not just part of the device other than corporate greed. It’s always connected and ready to use when I need it.

Good product once I found the right one. I originally went in for a cheaper keyboard that said it was compatible with the Surface Pro 8. The web site said it. The guy who got it and sold it to me said it. When I got it home, it was the wrong keyboard. I took it back and was given this one with a $49 higher price tag, no apology, no nothing. Impressed with the keyboard once I got the correct one. Not impressed with Best Buy.

Pretty nice and sleek keyboard. weight is not so much to carry. The connection with the tab is perfect and the keys are smooth to press.

It's so very easy to connect with the Surface Pro 9. The keys snap nicely and there's a spot for the pen!

Integrates nicely with the Surface tablet, Surprisingly sturdy and rigid with decent keyboard feel. One star off because it is not backlit. I also think it is overpriced, but you have no other choice from MS. Although aftermarket keyboards are available that are backlit and less expensive, I did not want to take the chance.

This is my third Surface Pro tablet and keyboard over the last several years. This keyboard is a noticeable upgrade from previous versions. Why? The keyboard is stiffer and just generally more solidly built. Because of that, the Pro Signature Keyboard more closely resembles the typing experience on a laptop. There's less flex when pounding away on the keys. The sleeve for the pen is creatively tucked away in the fold of the keyboard -- easily accessible but safely secured. My only wish is that the trackpad was bigger, like a MacBook. Then again, the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard trackpad is about the same size.

It costs a lot of money for a keyboard but it helps to protect the screen works right out of box.

This keyboard has a great feel and color. It has a space for the pen which also charges the pen. It pairs easy to the Surface Pro tablet. It is a little pricey but overall a good addition.

The slickest keyboard that I've ever typed on. I can't believe how easily and quickly I can type on this keyboard. Wonderful that it is detachable for handwritingn on the Surface tablet.
