I got this as part of a package deal with a new Surface Pro. The magnets pulled it up to the machine like they both wanted to be together ;-) We bought some cheap ones to go with other Surfaces we've had and weren't entirely happy with them. This one works great with the Surface-decent key action, touch pad works well. I'm very glad I got this.

This has been amazing. I purchased this almost 6 years ago now and it’s still going strong for work and the games that I play. Compact and easy to use. Pair with normal size keyboards, etc when needed.

This “type cover” works great! The reason I bought it was because I did not know that the Microsoft surface pro comes with the type cover. This is bc the name is a tad confusing. So now I hope people see this review and don’t accidentally buy one. The great thing was the return process was haste free and I was able to replace my item easily.

I bought this mainly because the screen needs some protection. To be honest, I never thought the typing experience on a keyboard like this could be that good. The keys are well spaced. They have a decent amount of key travel and the weight of the keys is just right. In addition, the trackpad on this is probably the best in class for windows devices. It is smooth and accurate.

I am very happy with the way this keyboard works with the Surface Pro, the magnetic coupling is great. As soon as I get the keyboard close to the tablet it snaps perfectly into place with no adjustment needed and works. It also looks good when not in use, folds up nicely over the screen for protection and has a pleasant overall look. The only complaint I have would be that when I have the Surface propped up and the keyboard out there is nothing supporting the keyboard which can make the mouse difficult to use. I think this is minor gripe and am very happy with how the keyboard has operated so far.

This is a good keyboard, and fullfills my expectation.

I got this to go with my new Surface Pro 7 and it works great. I love how it types. It's very quiet. There are some downsides to the keyboard. I don't have long nails, but if I were to shine a little bit of light on the keys, I can tell what keys I use the most due to the scratch marks. The leather part of the keyboard is a little scuffed so far but isn't ripped or damaged at all. Overall, it's definitely not worth over $100. You could probably find something cheaper that works just as good elsewhere.
