This product is a must have for any surface pro owner. It requires little to no effort to attach/unattach. This keyboard is adjustable to any user with the help of the built-in kick stand feature on the surface pro.

I do a lot of work with my surface pro. Although I wish I didn't need a keyboard but its a must in order to complete the All in One experience. The keyboard works perfect. The only grip I had was the price. I do believe for what it is, that the price Microsoft is asking is a bit much but overall it does what its meant to do.

Great solid keyboard. The track pad works much better than the keyboard for the Surface 3. It's solid and responds well. The keys are nicely spaced out so it's easy to type. Best keyboard hands down for the Surface.

The keyboard is very light, durable, and easy to type. It is very convenient and it attaches firmly to the touchscreen device. I do not have to worry about the keyboard unlatching from the touchscreen device.

The keyboard is sturdy and the color is amazing. The magnet is strong enough to hold everything together but is still easy to remove if needed and it is double for the laptop screen cover.

The keyboard isn't promoted as an accessory for the Surface Pro 3 but it is a major improvement over the flimsy, bend-y Type keyboard that Microsoft sold. The bigger touchpad is the most noticeable difference but what I like best is it doesn't flex as much as the original so typing has a lot better feel. And the backlighting is really nice, too! (There's still no place to keep your stylus except for the flimsy loop that came with it. BTW, I had to superglue this to the keyboard because the adhesive that MS used isn't strong enough to keep it connect after a few weeks.) Wish I could find a sucker, oops, I mean buyer for my first keyboard mistake but really glad I got the new keyboard as I like my Surface Pro 3 more now.

The keyboard works just great. It makes the tablet feel like a complete laptop- only lighter and cooler. I would definitely recommend it if you're picking up a Surface for Christmas.

I like the ease of use with this keyboard. The key spacing is great. If I had to be critical, I find that the magnet portion of the keyboard isn't always secured perfectly to the Surface and then I can't use the mouse pad. The good news is, by adjusting the connection, everything works fine again.

This keyboard is for our Surface Pro 4. We purchased it to get the standard keyboard feel and secondly to add protection to the unit itself. Well worth the money for the peace of mind it gives.

Works very seamlessly. Backlit so that’s an advantage especially in the night, doubles up as a good cover. Button feel is much better than older felt type models. Great buy.

I have tried to avoid touchpads. They have annoyed me in the past - and when presented with the option, I always chose external mouse. I was coming from the SP2 and the Type Keyboard 2. This one is significantly improved. Keys are spread out, backlight is adjustable, and the touchpad - well I am so impressed with the accuracy and the gestures that I can perform. There are additional settings that allow you to adjust sensitivity when typing, thus avoiding that frustrating issue of inadvertently moving your cursor to another point in the text while typing. Very impressed with these minor improvements as they produce major advantages for "On the Go" value.

A solid product, great touch response with a good spacing of the keys. The backlight keys are perfect for low light work. The magnetic connection to the tablet is neat,

Surface Pro 4 Key Board - I debated getting the keyboard but so glade I did. I love the way it magnetically attaches and the ability to control the intensity of the backlit keyboard. I was going to get the keyboard with the fingerprint reader but decided on this one. With the visual recognition on the computer, it is not necessary. The only trouble I had was deciding the color. I went with the light blue even though I was worried about it getting dirty. I have had it for two months and it is holding up nicely and looks new.

Upon upgrading to this version of the Surface Pro 3/4 Type Cover, I immediately felt the difference. The keys have a better spacing between them, feeling as if you are typing on a full keyboard. They are also slightly more raised and you can feel the press/release of the keys as you type. The track pad is larger as well and not offset like the previous version. Also, In darker environments, the back lit keys stand out more noticeably. I think this is due to the additional spacing between the keys. This version of the Type cover would be a great upgrade to the previous, or if you plan on adding it to a new Surface Pro 3/4 purchase.

Using this keyboard on a surface pro 3. its very quick, accurate and the keys are well spaced. In the stock photos it looks green but in person it is a really nice blue/green.

After purchasing my Surface Pro 4 I thought I didn't really need the keyboard since my intentions were to replace my Galaxy Tab 2 10". Well I realized I was wrong and got the keyboard and it works wonderfully. Its quiet, the keys light up, its just great. The teal color is my favorite because it's in between blue and green but still dark enough to not attract so much attention. I also price matched it which was good too. I'd say get this keyboard because you never really know when you'll need it.

The keyboard, for one, is the perfect color and for two it is very easy to use! It's light and the magnet strips make it a perfect pair for the Surface Pro 4!

I was skeptical at first about this, as I've had others in the past that were terrible, although cheap from amazon. This keyboard is backlit, its key travel is very nice and the mouse pad is the smoothest I've ever used. The magnetic attachment is strong and the felt on the back is a nice touch compared to leather that picks up finger prints. I can type fine on this, its definitely smaller but you easily get used to that. I've not done long typing sessions so YMMV. All in all this is the best addition to the surface and I'd recommend this as a must have if you own a surface pro 4.

This keyboard is made for the Surface Pro 4 and works great. The magnetic mount/dismount is fast and easy. It is thin and light. The keys have back lighting that the brightness can be controlled. Great for using the Surface Pro 4 in a dim or dark room.
