Perfect design, improves on the already great surface keyboard. A tad bit pricey but with the included stylus I guess it’s worth it.

The Signature Keyboard and Slim Pen incorporate a very smart design. The pen is flat and attaches to the keyboard completely level making it concealed when you cover the Surface with the keyboard. This design makes it very convenient to carry the Surface Pro X everywhere with the keyboard and the pen. The pen also automatically charges its power from the keyboard cover without you having to do anything. The Alcantara fabrics feel nice and durable enough for everyday use. The keyboard attaches to the Surface Pro X securely and steadily. You can even fold the keyboard a bit to the screen thus concealing the slim pen and raise the keyboard just a little bit, which should help you typing more ergonomically. There is adequate rest for your palm when you type, which is an important factor when you want to type extensively. The keyboard works well. It has a set of typical Windows QWERTY keys and short cuts that are very useful to make instant adjustment to the PC such as adjusting screen brightness and volume. The keys also light up and you can adjust their brightness by pressing a key in the keyboard. Typing feels good and every time you press a key, the key clicks satisfyingly. The mouse works well and accurate. The mouse works just like when using MacBook. The slim pen is just wonderful. It feels precise and software integration with MS Word is great. As soon as you detach the pen from the keyboard, you can write or draw anything to your document when using MS Word. You erase the drawing simply by using the other end of the pen. While the pen is slim, I have no problem using it. Button placement also works well and you can easily press the alternate button whenever is needed. The keyboard and the slim pen should definitely be on your top list of accessory. It makes Surface Pro X a very capable and productive tool. Pricey yes, but a necessity nevertheless for a 2-in-1 PC.
