Customer Ratings & Reviews

This keyboard truly stands out as a fantastic choice. The thoughtfully designed, compact form factor, combined with the convenience of seamless wireless connectivity, makes it an exceptional pick for anyone seeking both portability and a premium typing experience.

This is one of my favorite Surface Pro keyboards in many years. I use this currently with the Surface Pro 13” (Snapdragon X2) computer. The Haptic Touch trackpad is a very welcome change and the ability to use it disconnected (Bluetooth) is a major benefit for me. As always, the MS keyboards have super nice touch when typing. Given the current price of $500, I cannot recommend this item and would recommend just paying for a standard typecover for a fraction of the cost. I don’t see the Bluetooth connectivity and haptic touchpad as a nearly $400 premium over the basic keyboard.

I love how sleek the design is. I like how much feedback you get from the keyboard. The color is very beautiful as well. The pen charges very fast and the magnets on the keyboard and pen are very good. My only complaint is how expensive it is. Though, I do think it’s worth the money so long as you are suing the pen as well as the keyboard. Don’t buy it unless you’re gonna use the pen. Otherwise you can just get the keyboard.

I'm taking 1 star off because $450 for a wireless keyboard is ridiculous no matter how you spin it. That being said, this is a phenomenal keyboard especially given how thin and lightweight it is. The keys are very snappy (coming from someone is finance who is very picky about typing) and the trackpad / haptic feedback feels amazing. Overall quality came in above my expectations and I would definitely recommend this as a necessity for the surface pro.

Keyboard is great. Can be used disconnected from the screen which allows for the screen to be placed where others can view while the keyboard can be placed comfortbly in front of the user. First one that I purchased lost connection for charging and could only be used while connected. It lasted less than 6 months. Hopefully only a glitch and I do not have the same problem with this one. My disappointment was with Best Buy's return policy which forced me to accept a refund of the sale price that it originally cost me and then have to pay full price for it afterwards. No one explained that to me until it had been done. I was told it will likely go on sale again and I would be able to get the difference back. It did not happen. I paid full price of $499.98 for the replacement while I had originally purchased it on Black Friday for around $350. I was not happy!!! I would have stayed with the first keyboard, which still worked when plugged in, until it went on sale again and then returned it so I would not have to pay full price. It doesn't seem right to get jammed up without an expanation in advance.

Fantastic product, love the Bluetooth feature, only reason why no 5 star is sometimes it does not register but after a few minutes of fiddling around it connects

I’ve had this for a little over a year now and I’m in love with the fact that I can use this as a wireless keyboard (it doesn’t even have to be attached to the laptop for me to use it)

Better than previous model. Easy to use the pen. The bluetooth works smooth.

Product is super easy to use and connect built in keypad

It works while not attached and super thin amazing work Microsoft!

Best addition I made for my surface pro. This keyboard is so awesome and there is literally zero connection issues. I love it!!!

Love the improved portability and the pen and pen storage. Larger touchpad is welcome. A bit pricey, however.

Bluetooth typing works great, great battery life . Backlight is so bright and helpful. An upgrade from the original surface keyboard.

Love the keyboard and pen. Would give 5 stars if there was an easy way to get the pen out with my big fingers. Don't have to worry about losing the pen compared to my Surface pro 5 that had the pen stick to the side of the computer.

This thing has lasted me almost 2 years and it's still in perfect shape. Def recommend despite the price tag. Built to last for sure.

Solid performance and sleek design! Had issues initially with the wireless pairing it to my Surface Pro 11 which was a pain, but ultimately loving the wireless capability. Very expensive, so cannot give a 5 star rating.

Although expensive it is necessary if using a surface pro. Only wish when you folded it behind the device it wouldn’t block the camera

The new Surface Keyboard with SPen is very useful tool, while being artistic with the Pen always accessible. The build quality is top notch, and the haptic trackpad is a very well needed addition to complete the experience. The ability to use it deattached is a game changer opening many possibilities and flexibilities. If you are after a Surface Pro 11 Edition, this is aust have to complete the Surface experience.

Excellent typing experience and trackpad. Bluetooth and pen are great adds. Best surface keyboard yet.

If you get the surface pro, get these too. I can’t imagine using my surface without these.
