Keyboard is great. Can be used disconnected from the screen which allows for the screen to be placed where others can view while the keyboard can be placed comfortbly in front of the user.
First one that I purchased lost connection for charging and could only be used while connected. It lasted less than 6 months. Hopefully only a glitch and I do not have the same problem with this one.
My disappointment was with Best Buy's return policy which forced me to accept a refund of the sale price that it originally cost me and then have to pay full price for it afterwards. No one explained that to me until it had been done. I was told it will likely go on sale again and I would be able to get the difference back. It did not happen. I paid full price of $499.98 for the replacement while I had originally purchased it on Black Friday for around $350. I was not happy!!! I would have stayed with the first keyboard, which still worked when plugged in, until it went on sale again and then returned it so I would not have to pay full price. It doesn't seem right to get jammed up without an expanation in advance.

Love the keyboard and pen. Would give 5 stars if there was an easy way to get the pen out with my big fingers. Don't have to worry about losing the pen compared to my Surface pro 5 that had the pen stick to the side of the computer.

The new Surface Keyboard with SPen is very useful tool, while being artistic with the Pen always accessible.
The build quality is top notch, and the haptic trackpad is a very well needed addition to complete the experience.
The ability to use it deattached is a game changer opening many possibilities and flexibilities.
If you are after a Surface Pro 11 Edition, this is aust have to complete the Surface experience.

Unfortunately, this product arrived filthy and was functional after a few minutes. However, despite this I am clearly able to tell the intended use of the product, and I look forward to retrying with a functional Keyboard.
My personal issue, aside from its disgusting packaging, was the keyboard’sbattery life indicated never reflected a true battery life of the keyboard, as it would claim to be charging but lose battery life, despite hours of charge time and failure to respond to me typing even after time and restarts. As for the pen, it seemed to work perfectly as intended, but that does not excuse the horrible keyboard. Therefore, I would strongly recommend not purchasing this product via Antonline.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Works well for the most part. Sometimes I have to remove the pen in order for it to charge properly. Otherwise it's great to use. I appreciate the Bluetooth feature and the upgraded touch pad.

The trackpad and keys are immensely better on the flex keyboard vs the basic keyboard. If you type often then the extra $$ will be worth it in the long run also, if you fly a lot then the flex keyboard is the better option as the footprint on a tray table is much smaller without the keyboard attached and the flex lets you detach and use via Bluetooth. If you are casual internet browser then save the money and go for the basic keyboard either way you won’t be disappointed

Initially I bought an open-box keyboard, and had several issues with bluetooth interference and non-response. I also had battery life issues.
After having returned the open-box keyboard, and bought a new flex keyboard, I have fortunately not experienced the same issues.
Frankly, the keyboard is a pleasure to use. it types nicely, the track pad is large and haptic feedback is great. Using it detached can be quite helpful. Pen storage and charging is also convenient.
The price point is quite steep however. Particularly if it isn't working perfectly which is non-excusable on behalf of Microsoft for a flagship product. ... If you get a good one, you'll like it.

This is the best Surface keyboard yet, for the form factor. The trackpad is quite larger than the previous versions and more usable. Not too heavy but not flimsy either. Has the right balance of sturdiness. Short summary, a very efficient and more usable keyboard compared to previous ones.

I love this. I love the fact that is detachable and I can sit in on my lap and put my laptop on the counter or wherever Case may be and the pen is also great.
