the pen was in perfect condition and works just as well as my original! it was easy to pair, came with all of the original packaging, and made my life so much easier after losing the first one.

So far it's OK but working on applying it's use to certain programs and items

Too expensive. Too fragile. Works well with Surface Duo 2. My kid chewed on it. Nib comes out, just so you know. The fact that it magnetically sticks to the surface duo 2 case makes this a must buy for surface duo 2 owners. For everyone else, I don't see the draw.

Absolutely love this pen! I wasn't sure about the flat design at first, but it's actually really comfortable to hold. The best part is the feel when writing on my Surface screen - it's like putting pen to paper, but with the magic of digital inking. The pressure sensitivity is great for drawing and shading, and the haptic feedback makes it even more realistic. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but overall, it's a fantastic pen that's totally transformed the way I use my Surface. Highly recommend!

This pen is fair. It's not great. It's just "okay." Value: 2 Durability: 1 Ease of Use: 3 There's no marked improvement over predecessors and it has a slightly lower latency with improved touch latency precision. When coupling with the latest iterations in surface display technology, which virtually removes the parallax it's a comprehensive tool for everyday tasks and design. But you must understand the nature of the tool, and for artists it may take some time adjusting based on variable adjustable neural adaptations. This design is primitive in it's functionality as a sub-neural device which doesn't boast extensive interoperability. You can't directly interface with the tool without a trained eye and skillset to get the very most out of it. To better explain biotechnologies and the advent of neural-engineering (which has been possible for decades, but slowed because of planned obsolescence) take a look at leaders in innovation of human-machine interfacing. Elon, for example, has been touted and disregarded for neural link- which is only the first permutation of it's series. A huge drawback of this device is that it's base concept traces back to a function that's "just supposed to work." This creates a line of tools that is destined to fail with each iteration because they draw from the same concept- which just barely mimics real world tools. In my personal opinion, it's definitely not worth $100. There are pens, pencils, brushes, modules, and collectible artistry that are worth upwards of this price (while expanding on highly specialized functions). This is more of a "it just works good enough for 2023-2024 so let's sell it." If you are smart you will save your dimes and wait another decade or so to unleash your true human creative and professional potential. Don't fall for this gimmick, but if you do I highly recommend purchasing a textured screen cover for 14" screens.

It's OK. The fat width of the pen obscures the screen a lot more than a regular round pen. The advertised tilt functionality does not work in any art programs. The first one I bought was dead on arrival and had to be replaced. I live an hour away from the best buy store so that was a huge pain in the butt, and the replacement pen actually cost MORE. Great service. Combine all that with the fact this is one of the most expensive pens and requires a special dedicated charger dock that's the same price as the dang pen, and you get one of the worst pens available, economically.

Hesitant at first due to shape and being used to the original surface pen, but I use it everyday as I annotate PDFs all day for work. I love the weight and how it charges and fits in the case. I broke several tips with the original, this one has a feel similar to the apple pen but it sits in my hand better.
I purchased the Microsoft - Surface Slim Pen 2 to use with my Surface Duo. I wanted a pen that would store well with the Duo and the Surface Pen was not working - the magnets were not holding well. The Surface Slim Pen 2 works much better, but still can work itself loose. The build quality is good and the rounded blocky design fits well in my hand and is a pleasure to use with my Duo. It still feels like plastic on glass, but it works. There is no way to charge this pen unless you have the new Surface Pro 8 or the Slim Pen 2 Charger. Be aware of this if you intend to purchase this pen. I would only recommend this pen if you have a use for it and have a way to charge it.

bought this item used/open box. This item fits perfectly and hidden in keyboard cover for the SP9. Works great on my SP9. Worth the price i paid for.

Works great, no issues with it so far. Bit of a bummer you need the keyboard eith the slot or a separate charger for it.

Easy to use, easy to hold. Good for taking notes. Great addition to the surface laptop studio. A little pricey

Bought the Surface Pen 2 for my new Duo 2. Works well with the device and with the upgrade can active One Note with a click. The bummer is the charger comes separately and has to touch the charger for one second to activate the pen

I think this is the best electronic pen out of them all, it is very comfortable to hold and has a good weight to it. Definitely so much better than a previous generation, I enjoy using it.

Wish I didn't have to buy the pen and its charger both separately from one another and as an add-on for the computer, but it works well so it does exactly as billed.
