    I bought this to connect my Surface PRO 7 to my new Dell Monitor's HDMI port. This works very nicely. I am glad I purchased original Microsoft adapter than a third party one.

    This adapter port is amazing, do not get any other adapter or anything. I have bought other adapters and it wasn't working horrible only last a week or so . This amazing works instantly !!

    Necessary to connect the mini-Surface - the Surface Go to a display. There is only a USB-C port available and this does a great job of bridging to HDMI.

    Buy one of these with your surface dock 2 purchase to run external displays(usb-c to hdmi). Trust me you won't regret the decision.

    Got this to hook up phone to TV with an HDMI cable. It worked, but the screen on the TV is small. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, and could probably figure out how to make it work right if I looked at it more, but only giving it 4 starts because it wasn't simple enough for me. LOL

    If you have a SB2 and have the Window Mixed reality goggles, this adapter is recommended since it can go up to 90Hz compared to other third party adapters.

    I purchased this adapter along with a USB-C to VGA adapter to replace the ones my company provided with the Surface Pro 7 they issued me. With the third-party adapters, the extended desktop across the 2 external monitors would frequently get distorted and require a restart of the Surface or powering off/on of the monitors. Since using the Microsoft adapters, I have had zero issues with the multiple monitor set-up on the Surface Pro 7.
