I was skeptical of Windows 10, hearing mixed reviews, and having not used windows for over a year. However, much of the software I run is only native in Windows, and does not run on my current Linux platform, with or without WINE. I reluctantly spent the money on Windows 10, installing it on a desktop computer. After several months of using it, I thoroughly enjoy it's features. I was initially going to dual boot with Linux, but after using Windows 10, have decided I may not need to. The mail and calendar work fluidly with my Google account, and the multitasking features are linux-user friendly, as it has workspaces! You can key combo between screens, having multiple sessions running at once. There are many other features that users will find pleasingly useful, as well. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. Looking forward to further use of the new system.

I had the Geek Squad install Windows 10 and Microsoft Office on a new 12 inch MacBook. I am an online professor who has to grade many Word Documents, and was unfamiliar with the Apple operating system. This would buy me some time to learn the Apple system, and still be able to work on grading my classes. The best of both worlds. The Windows 10 operating system works well, though my curser wouldn't highlight for a week or two. It's working well now, so I am happy. I am glad that Apple provided the option of installing Windows 10 on their product. I access either system by holding down the Option key when powering on. Then select the one I am using.

Microsoft has developed a better operating system with the Windows 10 release. It seems like every other major release is a good one. So avoid the in-between releases. If things proceed as they have in the past, the next major release of Windows will be a dismal failure. But maybe that's why Microsoft decided to make this an ongoing live version and it won't be superseded anymore. We'll see... But this is a pretty good version. It works well with all the PCs I have, and is fairly intuitive.

I would say this is MS best OS yet. Xp was great, vista was so so, 7 took the best of Xp and vista and made it into one. Windows 10 does that, takes the best from Win 7 and win 8 and you get windows 10. Very stable, super easy to use.

I really like Windows 10 and its ease of use. I can start my computer and be up and surfing in about 30 seconds or less. I have Windows on an SSD drive and it is very fast. I really like the voice commands and the multiple desktops.

Bought 2 copies, both provided on USB thumb drives. The first copy was a clean install on a desktop machine whose HDD had died. Relatively few problems encountered, although a temporary LAN connection was required for about 5 minutes for Microsoft to find and install drivers for the wireless network adapter. The second copy is awaiting installation on a Vista machine. Best Buy's pricing was identical or within a few pennies of all other sources I checked, even on-line stores. The sales person indicated they would absolutely price match if I had found a lower price. <Great attitude.>

I recently purchased a new computer and purchased the Microsoft 10 upgrade. It is a nice interface and takes a bit to get used to. It offeres new features and free apps that are very helpful for my desktop.

Switched from Windows 7, so this was completely new to me. Still getting used to it, but overall like it. Performance is good. Gaming is great. No crashes or stutters. Most apps work well. Decent upgrade.

There's enough different about this computer to scare off the non-tech savvy commoner, but this one seems to be quite easy to navigate. love the full size backlit keyboard, too. Appearance is as impressive as performance.

This version of windows has more eye candy to make it usable. It does have more features than previous versions but much more forthright (you don't really have to dig around for them too much). They did simplify some things from previous windows, that can get annoying, but other wise makes it somewhat less cluttered. Either way, I'm really using this to game but so as long as it doesn't hog too much system resources from the game itself, this is fine by me.

Microsoft seems to have put a lot of effort into making this os release easy to use and stable. I bought this after the hard drive crashed on my laptop and I had installed a new ssd. This os screams on the ssd!

I love Windows 10. I bought it to put on a computer I built and it's insane how much faster and more flawlessly everything's goin. I also like how it's the best of both worlds combining Windows 8 and 7

Security concerns aside, Windows 10 has been great. Solid. Works fast.Does as expected. Have had zero issues with it and previous ,current or new hardware or software installs. Just do some reading.

Used this for a new pc build I was doing as a gift for my friend. After using windows 10 on my pc build I've become a big fan and decided to use it for my friends build as well. Windows 10 isn't perfect. Sometimes updates while good can get anoying and sometimes it feels like I find some new program trying to sell something to me every other day asking if I want to try it. Things that use to be free and that you would think would be standard for 2016 like a basic video viewer are not and will cost you $5 in app store to download. Also, alot of the bells and whistles that do come with it arnt really all that useful, mainly becuse from what I can tell not everything is set up to work together right away. With that said, im glad to have them becuse windows 10 to me is all about choices. Choices like using Cortana this choice wasn't for me but it's cool to know it's there and im sure it's definitely used by a lot of people. Windows 10 is not perfect buy any means and it's still improving. If your looking for something that works and you don't mind when needed paying for its mistakes than take a chance on windows 10. It has alot of options and even more potintal.

Seriously, what’s to say about this that hasn’t already been said. For me, it’s as good as Windows 7 with some added features that are nice if you want them. But I did miss desktop gadgets, or I did until I found 8gadgetpack. Work perfectly in 10. A word of advice. Do check your hardware has updated drivers for things like speakers. I upgraded my old Sony laptop, (4 years old) and there was no sound. Turns out Sony has decided they’re not going to bother releasing a new driver for the speakers on this machine. Really irritating as it was a free upgrade to 10. We now have two PCs with 10 and one with 7.

Windows 10 is a big improvement over Windows 8. I feels much more like 7, while giving you the new features that come with 10. I never liked 8, so in playing with it at work, I decided not to install it at home. 10 has not shown any of the problems I encountered with 8, and has been quite easy to use. This was my first time to install from a flash drive, which was much faster than optical disc. With my SSD, I had everything up and running in less than 20 minutes. The interface automatically defaults to desktop mode when it doesn't see a touch screen. The interface has a few differences over Windows 7 that you have to relearn, but nothing drastic for me. I opted for Home instead of the Pro version, and so far haven't run into any problems or features that I miss. I do a fair amount of gaming, and none of the usual games I play have failed to load and run.

I can't believe how great this Windows is. It made my old computer run better than ever. Nice design and features. My games play smooth and even my downloads take just seconds. Steam, Blizzard games and every program I like simply run like they were made for Windows 10. Lots of apps and clear tutorials. Cortana is a great addition. My computer is 5 years old and you couldn't tell.

Overall I found that Windows 10 seems to be much easier to use than Windows 8 or 8.1. I had to purchase the upgrade because my I could not retrieve the Registration Number from my version of 8.1. Note Microsoft help desk was horrible, a total waste of time. Once I purchased and did the clean install of Windows 10 everything worked as it should, and getting used to it was very easy. One other note, it comes In both an English and Spanish version. Make sure you have the correct version before you leave the store.

I was hesitant on buying the usb version of Windows. However it installed without any issues and is now running flawlessly on the pc I built.

This is the best package compatible with my employer's version. Makes all my office tasks easy, since so many commands are shared.
