My son had picked up a virus that crippled my laptop to where I could not even boot up in safe mode. I wiped it and installed the windows 10. My laptop is now running faster than it has in a couple of years and totally usable again.

I have been building computers for years. This was the easiest windows installation I have ever done! Only problem was that after my computer would turn on by itself in the middle of the night. Just something in settings, no big deal.

Great OS . Windows 10 came with a USB 3.0 thumb drive. I plugged it in my USB 3.0 port and did a clean install. It installed pretty fast. All my computer's hardware works well with it. The best part is that they put back the start menu and enhanced it.

I had hoped for a great Windows' upgrade, but ended up w/an operating system nightmare, which invades privacy & leaves any user open to hackers galore. I really wanted to love this version, but it has really fallen short of most expectations. The features are great, but the glitches too innumerable to mention. Hoping for updates, which might repair most faults. Stick w/Windows 8 until Windows 10 updates make it worth trying.

Upgrade from Win 7.1 to Win 10 was seemless and easy. Still learning all the bells and whistles, but overall it was a positive experience. Solid OS with many nice features, short learning curve to transition and easy to understand most functions.

I bought this product to upgrade a gateway laptop running Vista. I did and clean installation and it loaded the latest build after completion everything worked. Windows 10 is a great improvement over Vista. Boot up is fast and so far no issues.

I had a hard drive crash and decided not to re-download windows 10. It was well worth the money to purchase the software. Installation was a breeze although it did take about 2 hours to get it all done, still, a lot better than the download.

I use a gaming desktop I built myself, so I got the free upgrade form Windows 8.1 (with the Classic Start menu form Ninite) to Windows 10 because I knew it was free for a limited time, and apparently certain Microsoft games from Xbox would come to PC but only on Windows 10, and DirectX 12 would only work on Windows 10. As prepared as I am now with this OS, it might have seemed premature to upgrade just because not many games out take advantage of DirectX 12, and a lot of developers are trying out a new API called Vulkan which should work on all Windows OS'. Admittedly, the lack of DirectX 12 is on game developers and not Microsoft, but I took 1 star off just because of all these updates that take forever when restarting and turning on PC, even on a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. I just want to game, so imagine my frustration in realizing when I clicked "Update and shut down" the night before, when I turn it on, it is STILL applying updates after the startup. Should find a way to just install it all before shutting down so when I am ready to do my work or just relax, I don't have to wait on so many updates. Regardless, I don't mind the look AS much anymore, but I anticipate many people without touchscreens would be confused, and with the anniversary update leaving the Settings, File Explorer and Power options to just icons... it just takes some getting used to after you JUST got used to the previous layout only before these new refreshes. Find one thing, get it right and stick to it. For games, apps and all, it has full compatibility, just have the common sense to install apps from trusted sources, and have an AdBlocker on any browser (disabling on YouTube to not interfere with the ad revenue of your favorite channels) so you don't get scammed into thinking you have a virus from people posing as Microsoft. Those last two points are 100% user error so no points off.

With Windows 10 Microsoft has revamped the interface and their layout. The addition of being able to stream and play Xbox One games on a PC running this OS is a bonus. Further bridging the divide between PC and Console gamers.

I got this because I erase everything from my computer and got it installed it and I feel like a have a new laptop definitely will recommend it's fast and easy

Easy to install, very straight forward to acclimate to from Windows 7. I am very glad I skipped Windows 8 all together. Performance is no different than prior version. I appreciated the small package form factor it came in.

After so many problems using the on-line upgrade, I decided to try the actual Program (usb) clean install. This is a much better program with less hassels and quicer install. I am currently enjoying the benefits of Windows 10

I needed to replace Windows Vista since Google Chrome would no longer function with this older operating system. Installation was reasonably straight forward and it's worked fine without issues

I bought this because I was too lazy to download the ISO and format a usb stick. It works, not much else to say about it. Windows sucks, and we all know that, but it got the job done, since I needed windows.

Upgraded my computer with new hard drive and needed a new operating system so decided to get most up to date operating system works great with new hard drive better than when computer was new.

If you need to do a fresh install of Windows 10 and have a USB port then this is definitely the way to go. Plugs it in, boot from the USB, let the Windows Installer do the rest...about as easy as it gets...

Great operating system had a slight prob with missing icons and bad loading but I got a update and it was fixed after so I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a upgrade from windows seven

I would have stayed with Windows 8.1 except that some of the software I need to run required the Windows 10 upgrade. The new version is overall an improvement, but still nowhere near perfect.

New OS works better than previous version. So far, I am pleased. I run this with parallels on my Mac so I can use some windows only programs.

if you haven't upgraded to Windows 10 yet .. what are you waiting for? some excellent new features and it makes connecting your devices, including smart tv's cell phones, etc. much easier than 8 or 8.1
