I bought this for a new build and it's been working like a charm. Win10 is still a bit expensive but at least you'll have a copy in case you need to reformat. Make sure you plug the USB dongle in a 2.0 slot. I've noticed that it doesn't always read properly on 3.0.

I loaded the new software and my computer started locking up on me. Tried to resolve all problems but, eventually had to switch back to Windows 7. Not saying it's a bad product but, could not get it to work. BDK

My Windows 10 Pro installation runs in Parallels on my MBP. It works, although it's update-happiness is a mild nuisance. I haven't had any real issues with compatibility but I am mainly running MS DB-related apps on the Windows 10 side for project work.

Bought a Samsung 55" curved TV, Pioneer receiver\amp and complete set of speakers including surround. Geek Squad did the install quickly and professionally. Finally got the awesome home theater results we were looking for!

There are many complaints about Windows 10, but they're the same complaints I've heard with every new version since Windows 2.0. It's stable and I use it for my work environment, both graphic design and programming.

A lot of drivers don't work with Windows 10 and you have to go on a massive hunt, trying to find them, and possibly being unsuccessful at finding something compatible with Windows 10.

I was camping and had no way to repair my non booting laptop without a bootable repair disk. A trip to the nearest Best Buy gave a bootable jump drive with Windows 10. A few minutes later I was back in business!

I wanted a clean install on my HP laptop, which was previously using Windows 7, so decided to buy the pro version of Windows 10 rather than upgrading. The install went very smooth and everything is working great.

I give the product 5 stars but after having trouble loading it I ttool to geek squad just to find out I didn't need it. So good product but the sales person was no help sold me 200 product I didn't need

If you need to join a domain with your PC or use Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to a access other systems, then the Pro version adds that functionality to your Windows system. This is what you need for that :-)

I had to reinstall Windows due to a virus and the computer did not come with original CD's and the recovery discs did not work. Nice to have a physical installation disc if this has to be done again.

It does what windows should do. I bought this because it was a genuine Windows 10 with all the supporting documentation. I had previously bought an OEM version which ended up being a counterfeit. Paid more here but it works.

MS actually did a decent job with this release of the operating system. They brought back a lot of the things that they removed from 8 that made it almost unusable especially in a business environment. I've had few if any software compatibility or driver installation issues across dozens of Win 10 installations. One thing to note is that if you buy it through MS online you will not be furnished a product code, and if you have any issues with your installation be prepared to spend literally hours fighting their customer service to get the problem resolved. Because of this I've taken to buying the boxed product at bestbuy.

Great Product. It does what it's supposed to. Bit more expensive because you can reuse this product key on a different computer as long as you de-activate it on the previous one.

They have made many improvements in security and in the interface usability. When you take the time to learn the new features you will find they can help you be more productive both in work and play.

Windows 10 pro is the top Windows operating system. Do not hesitate to upgrade from any previous version of Windows, unless you are using Windows Media Center (not common).

I love they kept the new features and the bring back of the functionality of the older systems. Also the compatibility mode works so much better that I can run my older software.

The OS itself is...ok I guess. But its Windows, and what are you going to use instead? Windows 8.1??? Blaaaah! Anyway, go pro and have BB price match it locally...done.

This has been one of the more stable operating platforms. However, the drawback is that it makes older hardware obsolete since drivers are no longer supported.

Parallels and Windows make a great team on my Macbook giving me the flexibility of running software for both the Window OS and OS X as virtual machines on my Macbook
