I previously had Windows Vista installed on my main computer (I know not Microsoft's best work, but it met my needs for all these years), but I'm glad I finally upgraded to Windows 10. My system's boot time has improved greatly compared to vista and it feels overall the system is moving along quite nicely. HOWEVER to get windows 10 running nicely I needed to tweak things since it does a lot of data to microsoft and had extra services running that I don't need (OneDrive, Cortana, etc..) All in all Windows 10 is much better than the previous version of Windows (8/8.1) and recommend it to anyone on an older system or looking to build a future system.

I recently ordered this copy of windows 10 for a desk top gaming machine that I am building. It is really easy an convenient to use best buy on line as I have no local store. Best Buy made my purchase decision easy with the best price ,a great selection and quick shipping.

I purchased this OS for a new computer build, very easy install came with usb stick,even the update to the au 2016 version was easy. Runs well no crashes as of now.

If you have to use Windows 10 (which I choose to do), then this installer is very simple. It does NOT work as well for upgrading Home to Pro... for that upgrade you need this for ONLY the Windows 10 Pro key. The USB really isn't useful for the upgrade. For the upgrade simply go to the PC's properties and "change the key", put in the key that comes with the USB and your PC will (normally) reboot to Windows 10 Pro. Windows 10 Pro is really pretty stable and I enjoy using it. I do use Linux a little, but for most of my work stuff, it's Windows 7 or 10 and I like them both very much.

Powerful and intelligent system; however, installation was difficult and required a couple of hours of support. The learning curve is ~moderately steep for not-too-savy tech people.

Running as a virtual instance of Windows 10. Had to download an ISO from Microsoft to get it to install on my hpervisor, but the key worked great. I like the added protection provided by the retail product of allowing multiple activations in case there are any activation issues down the road should I move the VM to a new host. Windows 10 is a quick OS and easy to use.

My previous OS was 8.1, which was unable to receive the free update due to being an enterprise key. So I needed to either purchase a key for 10, or for 7 and then upgrade. As it is always better to do a clean install on a system, I opted for a 10 key. I chose the Pro edition over Home for bitlocker drive encryption (even more important if you have a laptop) and the ability to edit group policy out of the box. I also opted for the retail copy over the OEM in case I ever upgrade my hardware. So far, much better than Windows 8.1.

Easy install on a new 27"imac 4k machine. Couldn't stand apple os after using windows for so long. Man is the apple os slow and clunky. Win 10 went on and works like a charm. Faster then apple os and I can use my office 10 suite from work.

Issues with web browser on some sites. Haven't figured out how to import my favorites yet. Old check book program doesn't always close cleanly. I have to manually end task in task manager before I can open the appp the next time I want to use it.

I never had any version of Windows 8 installed on my computers. After seeing how it was designed, I decided to stick with 7. I didn't want to jump on the Windows 10 bandwagon as soon as it came out. I eventually was forced to make the move when I had a hard drive failure on my trusted desktop system, which was running Vista... I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the functionality and performance of Windows 10. I had a few hitches along the way during install, and I think there's always room for improvement, but I am pleased with the OS so far!

The only issue is it is only distributed on a 3.0 usb drive. Or at least thats what i was told. Needed to replicate the media to a harddrive to do the install. The install went smoothly and the os is running fast and well.

Every single Best Buy around the city of Grand Rapids, didn’t have the regular windows 10 OS. So I had to go with the pro. Not worth the upgrade for the extra cash you pay.

This OS is much better than the previous version. It took all of the best features from 7 and 8 and blended them together.

Windows 10 Pro is a very fast running OS and offer lot more performance comapre to Windows 10 home on my i7 dell xps desktop

Windows 10 is the best version Microsoft has delivered to date. I like the look of it and my Aps have never run better.

Was going to get windows 7. Im so happy i got windows 10 Nice interface. User friendly. I would buy again.

Always being hesitant any time MS releases a new OS, I finally decided to purchase my own license and the Pro version is the only way to go if you know anything about the different versions available.

Windows 10 Professional is a great operating system. The best one I have ever used. Smooth, easy and fast.

Mt nephew is a finance major in college and was thrilled when I gave him the Windows 20 Pro for a Christmas present. I hope it will help him in pursuit of a degree.

While I preferred windows 7, a colleague at work recommend this OS. I have to be disappointed. It does though present a learning challenge if you move directly from an OS older then 8.
