Windows 10 is a nice successor to Windows 7 (the operating system on my old computer), but has a lot of tablet/phone quirks that I loath. One is that it hates to shut down or sleep. Several times was scared out of my pants with my computer turning on from full shut down by itself. It also focuses heavily on notifications and auto-scheduling which interferes with the sleep/shutdown functions and my general use because I do things when I want to, and keep a sharp eye on things anyway making the scheduling redundant. Yet, there is no way to turn it off at all. For a specific OS thing to point out, on the surface the settings app seems to be the go to for any settings things now. However, whenever going to anything advanced or for special detail things the old Windows 7 Control Panel appears. Why not just have the Control Panel for it all Microsoft? And on top of that, many of the familiar controls in the Control Panel are now removed or otherwise nerfed taking out the customization and personalization that made Windows 7 the best thing since Windows XP. Wish I could have gotten Windows 7 for this new computer instead of this... frustration that is Windows 10.

easy to use and no complaints, easy installation and no special skills needed !

After purchasing Windows 10 myself, I was able to install Windows 10 more successful. I know what I want for Windows 10, especially I want to change from English to my native language-Mandain Chinese. As I write this review, I'm actually using the Windows which I installed for writing this review. I hope this Windows can last a long time for my custom made computer.

Installation of this product was performed via USB stick provided inside the package. The installation was for a new PC build. The installation process was straight forward and easy to perform. Didn't experience any issues - and would recommend to others looking for Windows 10 OS

I was very skeptical when I first loaded windows 10 but as time has continued I have developed a liking to it. The apps are not used much by me but the new has a bit of the old once you know where to look. I do not mind Windows 10 as much now as I did when I first switched.

Yet another flaky offering from Microsoft where the customer is the tester. Obviously they didn't spend much in testing this strange Win8 look-alike that doesn't remember its settings from one update to the next. It's the same Windows with a scrambled UI. They'll fix it in time to go on to the next broken novelty and then do it again, and again. Someone tell me why Windows 10 Pro (at that price) HAS TO HAVE an Xbox app I cannot get rid of? wtf...

I waited before buying another OS having great results with WIN7. No further updates for WIN7 pushed me to WIN10. I built this machine for gaming in March this year. After WIN10 install, Drivers and updates, I put the new DOOM on it. It is faster and the graphics are crisp and clean with no issues. I would recommend it to gamers building new machines....

I'm loving the updates to the windows system. So much easier to use. Convenience of the start menu and many more neat features.

Had to buy to join our small business domain and useful remote desktop. Easy upgrade from Windows 10 home.

Purchased this TV for a family member whose TV died. Needed something that would fit on a small table, be easy to use and have closed captioning. So far so good, but the closed captioning text is fairly small compared to the old TV. Would be nice if the closed caption options could go larger for someone that cannot see that well.

It was easy and excellent transactions. Best Buy is very fast to shipping.

I still like windows 7 format better than this layout. but I am old school.

Windows 10 Pro gives you several additional options that you don't get with the basic Windows 10 upgrade

Microsoft windows 10 now comes available on a USB. This device is also then available for any OS restore activity on the machine where the license was installed. Given the lack of CD drives now common on light laptops, a great idea to avoid buying another license for hardware failures.
