I recently built my own PC, and I have to say that this is a great choice for an OS. The start menu is a bit disorienting for windows veterans, but it's actually a convenient way to store all of your favorite programs all in one place.

I've had a pretty good experience thus far. I installed worked good ect. I decided I didn't like 8.1...... OK so I go to resale the item. Turns out the fine print on the disk says "this copy is for distribution with a new pc".... Yada Yada so this is a policy violation for most resale sites like ebay ect. I like how best buy has a generic picture of the product. IF I would have known that this basically had a no resale restriction I would not have bought it.
