Windows 8.1 was easy to upload and a pleasant change from my Windows 7. It is user friendly and very intuitive for keeping up on news and sports. It accepted all of my old programs except one which just needed a driver to adapt. Even when I get used to the newness, I know that this is going to be much easier to use than my old system. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Windows 8.1 is easy to use. I thought it would take a while to learn with the differences but that was not the case. Glad we had to purchase it.

I thought that Windows 8 was going to be the bane of my existence but with 8.1 it has made my computer experience somewhere borderlining fun. As an IT Tech, I have found that this is less on my computer and plays well with all my older stuff. I'm pleasantly surprised. Now let's see what 10 can do

HAD NO PROBLEMS INSTALLING THIS PROGRAM, IT WAS A QUICK AND EASY BREEZE INSTALL. PLUS BEST BUY WAS THE ONLY RETAIL STORE TO HAVE IT IN STOCK!

I Hate that they removed the start key, and make it seem like a tablet/smartphone. But a little tweeking and you can make it look just like previous windows, but with the benefits of win 8.1

what more can I say. Win7 is so much friendlier on a computer. I see how 8.1 is good for the Surface and phones but not a computer.

I bought this to update my windows but was worried about learning a new operating system. Very glad I did excellent operating system.

So installing 8 is not as annoying as some upgrades from Windows have been. Not all smooth sailing and the obligatory "now installing 2000 updates please don't turn off your machine" message. But overall I am glad I switched from 7. Can't give a 5 because that implies perfect

we added another computer to the household and opted to stay with windows 8 rather than jump into windows 10. Windows 8 has been working great for us and we wont rush to upgrade until windows 10 has been out a while and Microsoft had a chance to address some of the "bugs".

I bought the software a few weeks ago and it was very easy to install. Works great!

I am very pleased with Windows 8.1. It has allowed me to use all of my installed 8GB of memory, whereas XP only allowed 2GB.

I knew this is completely different than other windows products. Once one gets used to the changes though, it is quite nice.

so far i have had no problems with windows 8.1. definitely recommend to anyone building a computer :) or needs new software

We all know, no professional computer user can live without having windows. Office intertwined with our daily personal and work life and so far there's no competitor. I love Mac OS, for it's stability but the options that windows is giving us is something else.

ITS REALLY GEAT TO HAVE .. LOT BETTER THEN WINDOWS 7 AND HAS MORE STUFF. TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO SEE WHERE EVERY THING IS. BUT WHEN YOU GET STARTED .. IT GREAT TO HAVE..

very satisfied with product after easy installation.

A little awkward to get used to at first but once you get the hang of it its great. I like it better than windows 7.

Windows 8.1 is just as many have reviewed it before. Installation went well, but I sure do miss my start menu. Unfortunately for me, my laptop is too old for Windows 10 due to a nonexistent driver for the video. I guess I will have to get used to it...
