It is a good deal at 49.99 for the year, I got it for 39.99 as part of a console bundle. It's really an easy decision to get this if you have an Xbox 360 or Xbox One. I currently have the Xbox 360 and they feature two free games a month (usually one full game and one arcade game) and the Xbox Live Marketplace. Because of the Xbox Live Marketplace I haven't purchased a "physical" version of a game in over a year. If you are patient you can get any game you want and at a pretty hefty discount.

The XBox Live membership is a must have for online gaming. Also, you get free digital game downloads each month to build your library. I think it's worth the membership.

I originally purchased a card in store, which was not activated properly, thus rendering it useless. However, ordering online, gets it sent to you already properly activated so that you can put the code in and enjoy Xbox Live. Unlike some themed Xbox cards, this one does not come with any in-game goodies, it just looks cooler.

It's exactly as advertised. Easy to access and enter code. Xbox live is incredibly user friendly and easy to use. My wife, who does not game at all, still used the Xbox for the various apps and it did not take her long to learn how to use.

If you play any xbox games without having an xbox live subscription you are really missing out. Nothing I like better than putting potty mouth 12 year olds in place in my favorite games.

I love all of the things that come with a Gold membership. It is nice having Youtube, Netflix, and things like this without having to give Microsoft my cc number

Instead of paying $10 a month, you pay $60 for the year. With this membership you get free games every month, so it is a good subscription to purchase

How else you gonna play online if you ain't got one of these. I like the monthly free games tha come with the membership as well

Definitely need to get the Xbox Live membership to experience the full potential of this console. Comes combined with the GTA perks.

Perfect way to get Xbox live and not have to worry about automatic renewals draining the bank account because you forgot about it.

Its almost a must now to purchase a LIVE account when playing on the XBOX. Awesome discount when purchased with a new system!

I bought two of these for my grandsons for Easter. They can't live without Xbox live and their Xboxes!

what can you say about this you need to be able to play on line if you want too have any fun
