It's so tiny!! I came from a regular Xbox One, so the size of the S is amazing. I love the lack of power brick, although I'm not a fan of how hard it is to plug the power cord into the console now. Not a huge fan of the power-up and power-down noises, wish I could change those. I don't play Gears of War, but I liked the look of the console, it definitely looks awesome. The controller is awesome too.

I've been a DIE HARD gears fan since day 1. I've waited a very long time to get a New Xbox One Gears console and I'm super glad they did it on the Xbox One Slim instead of the original edition. FIrst off it comes w/ 2TB of Storage. Definitely no need to lug an extra small external hard drive around. First of all this bundle is a helluva bargain. You get the Themed console + Themed controller. You also get the Gears Ultimate digital bundle which includes the season pass. Buying this as a bundle saved you a bit of $$. Another thing I love is it has its specialized startup/shutdown sounds. One unique thing is it has laser etched markings on the console which I've never seen before on consoles or controllers. Also unlike typical special edition releases the insides of the box is very themed with Gears stuff which I thought was very excellent. It was'nt just a console thrown into a box with a special paper overlay. This box is done custom from the inside-out. I was amazed at how smaller this console was and it did not have an external power brick. Quite the space and power saver. If you are a Gears fan this is the ultimate bundle you really don't need to look any further beyond this bundle.

This console has been by far the best limited edition console ive ever purchased, it makes sounds on every action you do from ejecting the disc to powering it on. Amazing design from gears of war and included gears of war ultimate digital. Most important of all it is an xbox one slim.

The xbox one S is great. I run out of space with all my games so the 2TB is nice to have. the limited edition red looks nice and the stand it comes with is cool. The controller is also red but NOT an elite controller (e.g. you cannot custom configure it). While this is nice to have, I am not sure it is worth the $399 I paid for it when I could have gotten the 500 GB model for $249 and bought an external solid state drive. The 4k functionality and HDR gaming is nice though on any Xbox One S.

Already had a 500 GB launch xbox one. Project Scorpio is a year away and 450.00 is alot if money to spend now when theres no telling what Scorpio will cost or how much my One S will be worth when Scorpio drops. That said... I love this xbox! Looks absolutely gorgeous. New controller feels good and has more range. The console is so small its almost cute... and no power brick! It runs silent but so did my original. I have sling TV, Netflix, and a OTA antenna (with Hauppauge tv tuner) and Im using a Samsung KS8000 SUHD TV. The 4K upscaling of regular HD content is amazing and the 4k content from netflix is supurb. Not to mention how great all my old xbox games look now but it could be the TV as it is new as well. The HDR video/gaming on netflix and Gears Of War is also stunning. Its unreal how clear, colorful, and detailed everything is. I don't even use the 4k Blue Ray player everyones raving about lol. I do hear not many (high end) audio formats are currently supported but I'm sure that will change. If you got the extra cash and a HDR capable UHD TV then its worth upgrading, especially if you want the 4k Blue ray player. If not, wait for Scorpio.

At first i was reluctant to buy a xbox one s because of the price and on the basis of it's hardware, but then i saw the gears edition and looked online about it. Needless to say i was very impressed with the laser etchings of claw marks that dig into the console about 1/2cm or so and also how the startup sounds and disk eject are from the game (gears theme for stsrtup and powerdown with a swarm screech for disk eject). It is a superb console in how they sized it down and made an internal power. Overall it works great but i always worry about overheating so i bought a mini fan to stand next to it.

This is a great console. It is small, fast, has a great amount of storage space, the 4K is awesome, and oh, it looks really cool!

Love the beautiful Gesrs of War 4 limited edition console. A tad pricey since I've been comparing with different stores. Sadly, they don't do that during Black Friday sales. So I had to returned it because I found other places for cheaper price and with gift card. But I would totally get it from Best Buy if price comparison was allowed for Black Friday. That's the only down side. I always get my electronics gears here. Beautiful console with the limited edition and a 2tb is Great !!

This is an incredible experience just waking up and seeing this console is breath taking . Love the dynamic red on it, it looks so sexy with the laser incravings never seen anything like it before.. 2TB all you will need and it's nice and fast . It's also makes a sound when it's turned on and a different one when ejecting the disc . The controller probably the best one there is, not going to be seeing something this sexy in a while but YOU SHOULD ALL GET ONE. VERY RECOMEMDED.

Being an avid gamer I am always looking for a great deal or something special to add to my collection. I normally am not a fan of special edition consoles, nothing beats classic black in my opinion, but this is something special. The custom red paint job on both the system and the controller is very sleek and makes it stand out from my other systems. I was very surprised that the details on the system and controller, the claw marks and other unique designs, were not just a paint job but actually carved into the devices. The custom sounds also included with the system also add a very nice unique touch to the system. As far as performance there is a noticeable difference between the standard xbox one and the s model. I have not yet tried the 4k capabilities of the system, I am currently looking into getting a 4k tv, but am looking forward to seeing what the system can do. One of the biggest draws of this system to me was the 2 TB hard drive included in the system. Most gamers realize that with today's games that hard drive space is at a premium since the average game install file runs about 40gb or more. The 2 TB eases the pain of this though I will say I still connected a 2 TB external drive for extra memory, at the time of this writing I on ly have 1 TB of free space available so will either have to clear out older games that are not being played or look into purchasing another 2 TB external. Over all I highly recommend this system to any gamer, especially those looking to add something unique to their collection. The included gears of war 4 special edition is an added bonus.

First off you get a beautiful designed X Box One s Console and Controller with the Gears of War 4 design on both. Second, you get the Ultimate Edition of Gears of War 4 downloadable only not a disc. Third, you get 14 days free of a X Box Gold Membership. Fourth, you get a 4K Blu Ray player built into the X Box One S that supports 4K Resolution and your Blu Rays will get upscaled to 4K which makes them twice as good in resolution. Most 4K Blu Ray Players are $500 $600.

First off, aside from the fact that it's a cool console, it's also a great value. For all that you get with it, plus the storage on it, it's well worth the money. The actual console is really cool looking, a nice deep red, and the sounds it makes turning on and off, plus the god awful noise it makes ejecting a disk make it super entertaining. Definitely consider this one if you're buying the One S

The Good: The Xbox One S is a slick looking game console that's 40 percent smaller than the original and ditches the infamously gigantic power brick. It can display 4K video from streaming services and Ultra HD Blu-rays, and supports HDR contrast on video and games. The updated controller works with other Bluetooth devices, too. The Bad: 4K, Ultra HD Blu-ray and HDR settings only work with newer TVs, and may require some trial and error. The updated controller feels cheaper than its predecessor. Project Scorpio, the more powerful Xbox One successor, arrives in late 2017. The Bottom Line: The Xbox One S is the console Microsoft should have delivered three years ago, but there's little reason to upgrade if you already own the original box.

First i want to say that i already own an Xbox one, I wanted to update my old one just for the 4k player. The sleek new slim design makes this ( in my opinion ) the best looking xbox one made. The 2 TB really comes in handy if you own a lot of games. If you are in the market for a gaming console and own a 4k HDR TV I would recommend this xbox for you.

This Xbox design is the best looking ever. Add the two terabyte drive and you have a winner. We love the custom Gears of War sounds that it makes, which add to the unique quality of the console. Start up is gears of war soundtrack sample, as is shut-down. When you eject a disc, the sound of a "swarm" creature squeals out. It is awesome!

the S model is so much better than the original. smaller, lighter, no need for the power brick, this edition has nice battle scars engraved into the case and has custom sounds for on/off and ejecting a disc. the only negative is the S requires an adapter to use the kinect, which is free if you are upgrading from the original xbox one.

this xbox is simply amazing. the 2 tb is great for storing many games. love the detail and etching that was put into this product. so much smaller and compact vs the original xbox one. with the memory, custom xbox and sounds, gears 4 and the season pass that comes along with it is an excellent holiday gift for those in need of one!

I bought this to upgrade to the extra space and smaller footprint, as well as the 4K ability. Works well. I like the design on the console. Was able to download all my digital purchases to it without problems. If I sign in on another console, it can sync the game information so I can pick up right where I left off.
