I only bought this for the 2 TB of storage and to get Gears 4 (great game). I replaced a 500 GB XB1 because that's just not enough storage for anything. The only negative things I can say about the box are the cheesy noises it makes turning on and off (an exclusive for the Gears XB1), but you can turn that off in settings (though not easy to find). Next is the way the box looks - blood red. I'd actually have preferred a black box, but I ignored the looks for the extra storage and free game. The controller is red, too, but I kind of like that.

Love the new 4k Xbox one. Great graphics.. Its a little bit smaller than the original one and provides more room. Runs fast and reliable

I love the new design and memory capacity. The look and sound of the special addition is pretty cool. Definitely for a Gears fan.

When you insert or remove a disc the console makes a screaming death noise---- Not a joke. Made me laugh... Looks great they took time getting all the details right on the console. Controller looks great. Great for the price.

What a console. This thing looks amazing and has some of the best cosmetics I've ever seen on a piece of hardware. The laser etching on this thing is brutal and matches up with the Gears of War theme so well. Also note that you get the ULTIMATE EDITION of Gears 4 that is a $99 item alone. Absolutely will say that it's much lighter than the original Xbox One, and barely makes any sound. I am seriously loving this thing! 2TB of hard drive is real pretty too!

I had a 500 gb XBOX One but decided to upgrade to this Gears Of War version for the 2tb hard drive and 4k Blu-Ray player. I wasn't sure it was worth it, but I am glad I got it. First of all, as a huge Gears Of War fan, this console looks great in red with the Gears logo on it. The bigger hard drive is wonderful. No more deleting games to add room for new ones for awhile. I have not bought a 4K Blu-Ray to watch a movie yet, but I am sure it will be great!

The consoles appearance is awesome! Love the engraved claw marks and the paint work. Glad I didn't have to purchase an external HD right off the bat like the regular XboxOne. I did purchase another 2TB, only because I wanted the matching GoW4 HD @ GameStop. I played through the game and was blown away by the smoothness of the graphics compared to my original XboxOne. Running other games showed this improvement as well. Glad I went ahead and got this!!

I just love the color and the memory this thing has it also has its own sounds for everything you do

Replaced my old XBox for this one. I love the noise it makes when it starts up and I love how the scratch marks are actually indented into the console and controller.

The Gears S is all I could have hoped for. I've owned limited edition systems in the past and its the same gimmick. Cool looking case and controller, special sounds. One thing about upgrading to the S and losing the power block is there isn't a plugin for your Kinect on the system. If you have owned a Xbox one in the past and you register it and the new system with Xbox, they will send you the adapter for free!

I had purchased a Gears of War 360 console several years ago and thought this would make the collection complete. Upgrading to the slim with the smaller size and bigger hard drive was a no brainer when you add the great looking console. There are laser etched claw marks on the console and the controller which really add to the authentic feel of them. Great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm a die hard gears fan and I have been awaiting for this to come out for a while already, and when it arrived, boy did it deliver. The console looks very nice with the slash over it, has custom system sounds whenever you push the power button or disc eject button, and comes with a themed controller; which looks just as awesome. Plus it has 2 TB, and the gears ultimate edition. Need I say anymore?

This Xbox One S console comes with 2 Tb of memory which holds alot of games and apps than the previous 500 Gb Xbox one I used to have. The color of the console is a nice red and it is very sleek looking. Overall this is a must have for any Gears of War fan. Gears of War 4 is amazing, to me it's game of the year!

This is the coolest console I have ever seen. The marks on the side are actual laser cut to make it look as if it was done by a real animal or alien and not just painted over. Also, the console makes some erie noises when you power on or off and when you eject the disc. Pretty cool! Also it plays 4k video and the games look alot sharper. This is the best version of the xbox one consoles.

Love the console! The decals are awesome! I bought it because I needed more space, and I am not disappointed. I have not noticed a huge change in my gaming as I don't have a 4K TV. But if I did, the console would be perfect! One different feature is that you press the buttons to eject and turn it on instead of tapping them. Nothing wrong with the console at all, very happy with it!!

Xbox one S is great for 4K gaming and streaming, obviously. This special edition console takes it to the next level. Just like the Xbox 360 Halo and gears of war consoles, this one makes crazy noises as well. You should hear this thing screech when you turn it on, some hellish gears of war monster I'm pretty sure. Very good performance, and even smaller than the original Xbox one.

Honestly, I had to go through two other Xbox One S to find one that doesn't make the weird fan shroud clicking noise. Finally found a silent, quick running and awesome GoW4 edition console! I couldn't be happier with my purchase, great to look at and the controller is also great to play with. Honestly, if you have the choice to buy it; go for it! The 2TB drive is huge!
