This little console is super impressive. I have both the X and S, not only is this a powerful console it’s also crazy portable. Occupies little to no space for those who travel and wish to take it with them. Since I own both I thought it would be helpful to write some pros and cons Pros - Offers great gaming at 1080p-1440p - Small size allows for easy placement on any PC set up or TV set up. - Makes barely any noise when running - The 1TB storage is a big upgrade from the other 512GB model. Cons - Not as powerful as the Series X as this is the entry level system, it also does not output 4K natively for games - Due to the fan curve set on the console the sound is minimal as described before but it makes the console much hotter, consider this if it’s going to be facing you on the fan side - This is a personal preference but it’s obvious this is a digital games only system Overall despite the cons this system is a 5 star console offering the bells and whistles of a current gen console while retaining a small size. If you wish to game at 4K I do recommend going for the X or the PS5.

The Series S is such a great value when compared with the Series X. While the resolution is capped at 1440p, games seem just as fast and smooth as its larger sibling. Fast switching between apps/games is seamless, and even fast switching the controller between Xbox and PC/mobile is really convenient and a nice surprise feature. Performance is great while remaining quiet, despite it putting out some decent heat through the vents. The smaller console size allows for a lot more flexibility when it comes to placement or even mounting on a wall, under a desk, etc. The console is also quite portable, thanks to being fairly light and using a standard power cord (no bulky adapter!). Storage space of 1 TB is solid and probably good enough for most people. I have probably 5 or 6 AAA titles plus some media apps installed, using ~60% of the available internal storage. Game sizes will vary, of course. I feel like this is good headroom, especially for those who want to sign up for Game Pass Ultimate (a pretty great value for those who want to play online with friends anyway). The Series S|X controller is very consistent with the Xbox One controller, so if you enjoyed that one, you'll enjoy this one. I find the PS5 controller to still be superior, but it's not a detriment to the package here. The textured sticks, in particular, I don't like as much. I find that they wear down somewhat quickly and then flake off (after a year or 2, mind you). Stick caps can take care of this cheaply, of course. The "textured" plastic grips, and L/R buttons/triggers don't really add anything. Still, it's a responsive controller and works with many/most of your Xbox One accessories, like the chat adapter or even aftermarket rechargeable battery packs, so that adds to the overall value proposition of not having to re-buy accessories for your new console. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great console, performs very well. Perfect option if you want the storage capacity of the series X but keeping the sleek smaller size of the series S, easier to carry/storage. Also the best option now, if you don't want to spend $500+ for the series X, you won't miss a thing with this one.

Just got my hands on the Xbox Series S 1TB All-Digital console, and I’m totally loving it! Here's why: Pros: Small but Mighty: This little guy fits perfectly in my setup and doesn't hog space. Fast and Smooth: Games load super quickly, and the gameplay is really smooth. 1TB Storage: Plenty of space for all my games, so no need to keep deleting stuff. Game Pass: With Xbox Game Pass, I have a ton of games to choose from—seriously the best deal out there! Quiet: It runs super quietly, even when I’m deep into a gaming marathon. Cons: Digital Only: No disc drive, so it's all digital. Not a big deal for me, but something to keep in mind. Overall, the Xbox Series S 1TB All-Digital console is an awesome buy if you want next-gen gaming without spending a fortune. Highly recommend!

Huge upgrade from the Xbox one if the upgraded storage, performance, and size wasnt enough then the sleek look and all the other features will be. It is on of the best in the xbox lineup for a multitude of reasons, thie size makes it easy to carry around in travel fitting into a backpack with more room to soare then you could ever need. And for such a small console you get a lot out of it, with the amount of storage and performance that it puts out. Overall would recommend and great console.
