Loved playing this game. The best Lord of the Rings game yet. (Although the best one before this was the Lego one.)

I love PS4 games with good story, good graphics, good music, and good controls. This game has it all. The story line was excellent, the graphics were astounding. I loved gathering a group of 20-50 orcs around me and just using my skills to pound them. Try it yourself and see if you can survive!

Shadow of Mordor is very fun. Great Batman Arkham-style combat, Great Swordplay, and Finishing Animations. Nice stealth capabilities. Several hours into the game and lovin it!

My family has played this game through on the Xbox One. I wanted to try it on the PS4 and the game looks great.

If you like anything revolving around Middle Earth, then dont hesitate to purchase this game. One of the best games I have played this year, without a doubt. The story is very interesting and the gameplay is almost identical to the Batman Arkham games. You can not go wrong buying this game.

While this game is quite innovative in terms of a number of gameplay mechanics and features (most notably the nemesis system), it ultimately suffers from a lack of memorable characters and many missions that feel quite repetitive. There is also the issue that the world feels rather small and doesn't contain much variability. There also isn't much replay value in this game, as the story is entirely linear. However, for $25, the game of the year edition is certainly worth playing.

The game is awesome, if I was going to describe it it would be like Souls, Batman and AC all rolled into one.
