This game is awesome for both Lord of the Rings die hards and gamers alike. If you're both, it's a must own. It has a compelling story, great characters, amazing combat system, and an enemy system that will have you hooked. It's a must own!

my grandson wanted this game and really likes it. he says it is a good game for young kids who do games like black ops. the age group should be 10 or older

I personally think this is a great game, I loved the map and the graphics made this a great experience. The flawless controls and the intense battles made this game a truly worthy award winning game.

This was a christmas gift that i returned to get it on a new console but the game is aswome as a small feel to Assassins creed series but its fun can be very challeging from what i hear though.

Was surprised to find this for X-box 360; son was very surprised and has commented on graphics and challenge of game. I more a Mario kind of player, but he's thoroughly enjoy this game

I'm sure you heard it before but if you enjoy the gameplay in Assassins Creed and the Batman games you will probably enjoy this. Not only is it a ton of fun but it follows an interesting story that takes place in Mordor which is a lesser explored area of the universe. Although it's an original story, It has plenty of information (much like the animus in AC) that tells you all about the history of the darker side of middle-earth which is a wonderful change. The best feature about the game is the Nemesis system without a doubt. It really adds a truly unique element to the game and really adds to the overall very rich and lively world of Mordor. Unlike other games where the world progresses through you, in this game the place feels alive and like it's really happening around you, regardless if you had anything to do with it. Because of this system and the ever changing world, it autosaves constantly with no option to re-load. There is also no difficulty setting. At times it can feel easy but other times it can prove to be a challenge if you don't play your cards right. If you die, you don't lose progress however the world will change accordingly. The orc that killed you gets promoted and the rest of the them fight amongst themselves attacking each other, getting killed or getting stronger. Because of the constant autosaving, there IS quite a bid of loading. It takes a few extra seconds to go from the pause/map/skill menus and back to the game. I suppose that's the only downside but not worrying about saving and losing progress leaves you to simply enjoy the game rather than worry about reloading games to try to progress.

This is easily one of the best games of 2014! The fighting, graphics and interactive play is spot on with this game! Also love the expansive game play world! Lots to explore.

I was a bit worried about the violence level of this game, but my daughter is a LOTR fanatic. Based on other reviews and feedback from friends I decided she could handle it for her 15th birthday, and after watching her play it seems tame compared to my expectations. She absolutely loves the game, and the rest of us are hypnotized watching her play. I would probably drop the rating to "T" personally, but maybe our family is just desensitized...

I enjoyed failing miserably at this game for the first 12 hours or so. It offers a satisfying combination of hack & slash and extended storyline.

Not a big fan of lord of the rings but took a chance on it. I was pleasantly surprised the story is decent and game play is pretty straightforward. Upgrades add abilities and some enemies drop bonuses. That being said enemies regenerate, ex clear out a patrol wait a minute and the patrol comes down the road again. Clear a "base" leave the immediate area come back and it's fully manned. Overall its worth playing even if you're not into LotR

I haven't had a chance to really play thos one yet (because I've been playing others I bought) but from what I've seen, it is Awesome

This is a good title especially for Lord of the Rings fans. Not for kids though, fairly violent.

Surprisingly great. Possibly game of the year of 2014. Takes combat from Arkham Series and perfects the movement of Assassin's Creed.

Good action game....seeing what happens to enemies after death....is ALMOST worth dying for...

Love the game and plot. There are numerous side quests to complete. Hours of fun game play...

Follows the story, but a good game for those that are not into the Lord of the Rings also.

My boyfriend wanted this game so bad! He finally found it at a better price at Best Buy. He had a blast playing it for days!
