These radios worked perfect in the woods. I bought them so I could communicate with my bro in law while hunting because cell phone service is nonexistent where we go. Good range and easy to use with gloves on. I also bought the in ear cable so volume wasn’t a huge deal. These radios have amazing speakers that can be loud

They have a simple design, but are quite resistant to hits and falls in case you plan to use it outdoors and you get good signal on all 3 devices

I like the radio size. Communication was good. What I did not like was the battery. The radio says the battery was full, then a few minutes later the radio was indicating it had a low battery. Also charging the radio took a long time. Charged for a few hours and the radio did not last 30 minutes the next day. I guess you have to charge the radio the whole night to fully charge the battery.

These were great little, easy-to-use, compact walkie talkies. I loved everything about them and was excited to take them along on a trip to the lake. We clipped them onto the shoulder of our life vests and unfortunately, my partner fell off her paddleboard. This was pretty shallow water and she was able to immediately pop back up onto her board, making sure the device wasn't submerged in water that long... maybe 15 seconds from start to finish, max. I immediately attempted to contact her from my device, and hers was inoperable. It's 3 days later and it still doesn't work. I'll be contacting the manufacturer and hope I can get a replacement with a product that's actually waterproof.

It does the job. I do feel like in large populated areas it is hard to radio but other than that we have what we need.

These walkies provide a great value and are easy to use. I purchased them so I could teach my wife and kids the basics of communication long range in case there were an emergency. They're also convenient at a fair and of course camping.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent I bought this pair of Midland X-TALKER 28-Mile 2-Way Radios for our car club, and they worked great on a recent trip to Tail of the Dragon. The radios were clear, reliable, and easy to use, even while driving through winding mountain roads. Range was excellent for our group, and everyone could stay in constant communication, which made coordinating stops and turns much easier and safer. The radios are sturdy, simple to operate, and a perfect addition for any car club or group trips. Highly recommend these for anyone who needs dependable, long-range 2-way communication on the road!

I didn't read the instructions upon buying these. They were bought as a test baby for inter-office communications. When they are paired with the headsets; made by midland as well; they are flawless. 2 way communication, talk on the channel and it will sense your voice if you want it to. Want the local weather? just push a button. 28 miles away? no problem. definitely would consider buying these again, and I probably will. They come with a recharging stand and if you lose that, just use micro-usb to recharge them.

I've been using these two-way radios for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with their performance. The audio quality is crystal clear, even at longer distances, and the signal range is exactly what I needed — strong and consistent, whether I’m out hiking, working on a job site, or coordinating an event. The battery life is excellent — it easily lasts through a full day of use without needing a recharge. The build quality is solid too, with a durable design that can handle rough conditions without any issues. Setup was quick and easy, and the included features like multiple channels, privacy codes, and hands-free (VOX) capability make these radios incredibly versatile. They’ve quickly become an essential tool for staying connected when cell service isn't an option. Highly recommend these for outdoor adventures, construction teams, or anyone who needs reliable communication on the go.

These walkie talkies are a great asset for our camping trips. We could always use our phones, but it is nice and easy, as well as convenient to just press a button and talk with this product. The price was doable, and the distance they can work is unreal.... It is nice having the capability of multiple channels, although the chances of all of them being taken at the same time is slim. Great product. Very pleased.

These Walkies are Great. The have great sound and great range. We use them when we go camping which is often. My wife usually stays at the RV and go hiking with the dogs. Since we often don't have cell service when camping, the walkies allow us to stay in touch. And since they are rechargeable, they are always ready to go. Very happy with them.

This product was very useful for my job. If you ever need some type of way to communicate with someone this could be one of the ways you could do so. A downside to this would be the fact that the product can't go too far without disconnecting and then not working.

Had two cars driving from Florida to Philly and used theses to easily keep in touch. Range was great even when i couldn't see the other car plus battery lasted all day. Very little interference and sound was crisp and clear. When i did hear interference we switched channels and all was good. Highly Recommend ! Great Value for the Money.

I live in a two story house with a full basement that contains a studio where I spend a good deal of time. My wife has some medical issues and I purchased the 2-way radios so that she could reach me when she is on the second floor and I am in the studio working. For that purpose, all is good. I thought the 28 mile distance would allow me the freedom to leave the house and make short trips with my wife still being able to reach me by simply pushing a button. On my first outing, less than a mile from the house, we were no longer able to communicate. 28 miles seems to be nothing more than a fantasy. Communication outside the house remains a phone call and not the push of a button away.

I bought 3 sets of these for a trip to the Olympic National Park with my friends. One day we went on a hike up one of the mountains, and having these worked perfectly since we didn't have cell service. And doubly so as a couple folks in our group didn't feel well so we were able to stay in contact the entire time. I would recommend having regular AAA batteries along with the rechargeable, they seem to last longer than the rechargeable ones from our experience.

Was able to quickly and easily communicate with family while on vacation while driving in two separate vehicles. We were within 2 miles of each other and sound was clear and crisp. Took kayak out on lake and was able to call back to Villa to family. It even survived an accidental drop in salt water. Took apart and dried for a day and was back in business. I did test it with my wife while driving in separate cars. She went downhill away from me and lost her within quarter mile but. If not in mountains, these work great.
