I like the flavor of coffee made from newly ground beans. The grinder is a great feature of this coffee maker. This is a good unit. Other reviews commented about the extra work required to clean out the strainer/filter since there is no paper filter. An old toothbrush is a handy tool to help clean the strainer.

I was stunned when I was able to buy this for $35. I paid 75 for one of these because it was on my son's wedding registry. I had a Cuisinart that was self grinding and it was such a pain because I had to clean the grinder separately and it was so noisy this unit is 10 x quieter and so much easier to clean. You just add the beans to the basket and it grinds them right in the basket. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a water filter but I use filtered water from my fridge. The Cuisinart unit used to terrify my dog every time it went off she doesn't even notice this one. By the way I have a Cuisinart for sale LOL

I purchased this coffee maker after having two failed more expensive grind and brew makers in three years. They were much more expensive and failed to last. This maker is easier to use, easier to clean and easier to maintain. The grind is MUCH quieter which is a bonus when setting the auto brew for the morning. I am beyond satisfied with this product!

We got this on Jan 3, 2018. It works great. Grinds well, coffee tastes good, etc. Unfortunately, around October, we noticed a wet countertop after making a pot. It was only a little bit. Since then it has gotten so bad that we have to put the entire coffee maker inside of a pan to control the water. We haven't been able to use it since December, so I am looking for a new one. This is pretty pricey to get less than a year out of it.

Really good coffee brewing system. Good options for grinding and setting coffee strength. Only real downside I have found is the basket filter is a little difficult to clean.

I've had this for about 2 weeks now and I love it. The coffee comes out strong and fresh on the lowest setting, and has two strength boosters from there if it's not strong enough for ya. The grinder is built into the basket, just dump your old ground coffee wherever you want (trash or compost..) then rinse the screen type filter, pop it back in, put your beans in (recommended 1 scoop per cup of water that you are brewing and that's a good balance for me, and I like it strong) and hit the button (if it's lit up already you just have to press it, if the button isn't lit up, you need to press it twice). It's fairly quiet for a grind and brew, easy to pop all the pieces out for cleaning. I am coming from a 200 dollar Cuisinart and this thing makes coffee just as good if not better.

If you like the good old fashion coffee pot while being able to truly smell the coffee bean aroma during the brewing process, then you will LOVE this coffee maker! The built in coffee grinder and reusable/washable filter is awesome! It's eviormentally safe, timer and grinder feature saves time and large enough to enjoy multiple cups alone or to share! Enjoy an awesome cup of Joe with this modern, sleek, yet old school style coffee maker. Easy to clean, fits nicely on limited counter space!!

So far I am really liking the B&D coffee maker. I didn't want to spend thousands to buy a super duper all in one maker, & thus far this one is doing fine. I love freshly ground coffee. It isn't really that loud, & beans are ground fast. For the money I'd say give it a try. Any coffee lover can figure out how to use it very fast. It fit nicely under my kitchen cabinets, and now I don't have to keep a coffee grinder out too.

Automatically makes the coffee, is easy to use but I would recommend reading the manual first so you can understand what all the settings are.

Now -- I usually have a generic $15 coffee maker -- I was so glad to have purchased this one. I love the built in grinder, no worries about when you buy whole bean instead of ground coffee in error. Also -- no mess transferring the grounds from your grinder to the coffee maker. First time having a coffee maker with a timer --- also LOVE IT. Set it and forget it.. then fresh coffee appears in the morning. This one also has a reusable filter -- I hate purchasing filters and I think its such a waste... another big plus. Overall -- happy customer here!

Had a squeeze and far- for a few years. Cleaning wasn't much fun, and I am not saying this one is. It's just easier. Also, so much quieter. And it has a few strength settings for the grinding. Wasn't so sure about that, but it does make a difference The strong was not my cup of tea, hehe, but one step down was.

This coffee maker is great. You can adjust the cup size and use normal k cups or brew a whole pot. The only downside is that it uses cone filters. We us the gold filters which are hard to find in cone shape.

Very easy to use and great functions. Bought 2 for Christmas gifts! I wish the filter cup was a little wider. Overall, best quality, design and ease of use!

The new coffee grinder is great! freshest coffee ever.

Looked at other grinding coffee pots for up to $200 more. Worked great. Permanent filter is great. Only down side so far is slops water it you fill it full and then move it, no matter how gently you move it.

First, it arrived a day early! It's been amazing; I preset it at night & wake up to the sound of fresh grinding beans. Super-easy to clean. When it needs replaced I'll choose the same one - I'm hooked.

You put beans in it, then out comes coffee, it's awesome!

My son has a very expensive coffee machine that makes one cup at a time. This machine makes a great pot of coffee and can be set on a timer. Very convenient and easy to clean.
