Now famous director Guillermo del Toro gets to cut his first American film as close as he can to his original vision and it's worth the effort - it's a terrific suspenseful thriller now that the damage done by the studio's ham-handed butchery has been repaired. The idea that you're getting that film bundled with it's two inferior sequels for the about same price as the original film by itself (I paid even less than the single disc version was priced at the time) make it a good buy. You might only watch Mimic 2 and 3 once, but the Director's cut is now good enough to justify repeat viewings.

The original Mimic was great & would have given it the full five stars but Mimic 2 & 3 weren't really necessary. Part 2 was good & did extend the story a little while part 3 was totally UNnecessary. Highly recommend the original only.

For the price, you can't go wrong with the trilogy but make no mistake, the original Mimic is the only one worth watching again. If you can slog through #2 and #3 you probably won't revisit them.

Of the 3 films - the first Mimic was the best - but they were all very good. Can't go wrong with $10 for the complete set of three, either. Must own, for that price alone.

Three good movies. that I would normally give three star ratings. I gave this set four stars largely, because of the low price.

Looking for something new? This three-film set is a perfect addition to my Blu-Ray library! Even if you don't enjoy the third film as much as the first, getting 3 movies for this price is a steal, and you have the entire collection... Fantastic!

I love these scary movies. The plots of these movies are very good, and the characters are compelling. The special effects are great. If you want a great scary movie collection this is the one to get.

The first Mimic is worth the price alone. The 2 sequels are a bonus. A sci-fi classic!
